  1. I’ll go ahead and do a Team Finland update, Finland beat Austria 7-1 today to move to 2-0 and our boys continue to impress. Ville Koivunen (Finland - RW): 2 GP - 2 goals, 2 assists, 4 points, +6 Aleksi Heimosalmi (Finland - RD): 2 GP - 0 goals, 2 assists, 2 points, +3 Koivunen was named the player of the game for Finland. Highlights Below Koivunen Goal 1 - Glides down the middle of the ice and finds a hole in the defense, Lambert finds him on the pretty feed. Koivunen Assist 1 - Wins a board battle and slips a sweet pass out in front to Helenius for the goal. Koivunen Goal 2 - The Ovechkin, enough said… not pictured was Heimosalmi’s secondary assist.
  2. Only six more to go before team immunity… sad that this is where we are in life.
  3. And Koivunen just went full Ovechkin, no-look back hander from the seat of his pants. Canes might have hit on another Finn!
  4. Gives me enough time to get to church and pray for that L.
  5. I believe this is where we stand in regards to Covid in the past three months. Has/Had Covid: Ball, Bridges, Hayward, Martin, McDaniels, Plumlee, Rozier, Smith, Washington Has Not: Bouknight, Carey, Kulboka, Lewis, Oubre, Richards, Thor So we’re a little over half way there.
  6. I’ll try to keep this going throughout World Juniors. Ville Koivunen (Finland): 1 GP - 0 goals, 1 assist, 1 point, +2 Aleksi Heimosalmi (Finland): 1 GP - 0 goals, 1 assist, 1 point, +1 Nikita Quapp (Germany): 1 GP - 3.00 gaa, .864 sv% Nikita Guslistov (Russia): 1 GP - 0 goals, 0 assists, 0 points, -1 Alexander Pashin (Russia): 1 GP - 0 goals, 0 assists, 0 points, +/-0 Vasiliy Ponomarev (Russia): 1 GP - 0 goals, 0 assists, 0 points, +/-0 Joel Nyström (Sweden): 1 GP - 0 goals, 0 assists, 0 points, +1 Zion Nybeck (Sweden): 1 GP - 0 goals, 0 assists, 0 points, -1 Ronan Seeley (Canada): 1 GP - 0 goals, 0 assists, 0 points, +/-0 Scott Morrow (USA) - Scratched The play of the day comes from Koivunen on the drop pass to Lambert who sets up Helenius for the goal.
  7. It would sure be nice if we had our second and third round picks…
  8. So in five more years we’ll be where we need to be?
  9. What if your aunt had balls? She’d be your uncle… Rhule is who he is, acceptance is the next step.
  10. So who hasn’t been in the protocol? The rookies? We should just about be in the clear.
  11. Meh… not really, they replaced two players from last years squad… we need to find players for four of the five spots. Karras - who makes less than both Erving and Elflein and is a player we could have easily signed but didn’t. Brown - A player who was acquired via trade and wanted to go back to the Patriots. They already had Wynn, Andrews, and Mason.
  12. Remember, according to Tepper’s manifesto, this is a five year process… only three more years of this poo. It’s starting to make sense why Tepper’s first two investments when bankrupt… he had no idea what the hell he was doing. In similar fashion, he has no idea how to run a football team. He’s just another billionaire that wanted to take a stab at professional sports.
  13. If you think we’re going to have enough cap space to sign evan an average guard and center than you need to take a look at how many outstanding free agents/available roster spots we have in concordance with our available cap space.
  14. How do you suggest we fix the OL? Rhule traded away a bunch of our draft picks, took up a bunch of cap space by picking up Darnold’s option, and failed to develop any of the young guys that were on the roster… The OL sucks because Rhule thought that he could develop fugging Cam Erving and Pat Elflein… Now we need to fill four spots with limited cap space, no draft picks, and young players who weren’t properly developed. The guy is a fugging loon.
  15. I’m honestly not so sure. A lot rides on Christensen, if he can be a serviceable LT then we only need two guards and a center. If he fails then add the most expensive spot on the line to the above list. Not to mention, we have a lot of guys currently on the roster who need new contracts which will eat into our cap space. Oh, and we don’t have a second or third round pick. Rhule and company fugged this team up for the foreseeable future.
  16. If you think the O-Line can fixed in a year then come buy one of these bridges I’m selling.
  17. To think that people paid hard earned money to watch this…
  18. We are the second ranked defense in the NFL in the same way that I own beach property in Kansas.
  19. Dave’s a little busy right now, only a couple months til’ football season fellas.
  20. A guy I work with is a diehard Lions fan, older guy so he’s even seen the Barry days, he loves Campbell.
  21. Dan Campbell will turn the Lions around, his persona is similar to Rivera’s as in his guys love to play for him. I suspect they’ll go QB in the draft and if they hit on whoever they select then that Lions team could be a sleeper next year.
  22. They are on pace to score 26 points against the 2nd ranked defense in the NFL. We’ve scored 26 points or more a total of four times this year…
