  1. This is what I’m getting at. It’s honestly more important that they decide the depth chart for the OL before they do for the QB. OL continuity is huge.
  2. That’s not the case though, they keep switching QB’s while leaving the lines in tact. In reality neither the OL or QB’s are building continuity. It’s a hodgepodge right now.
  3. Smitty and Roman Harper making the broadcast a little awkward right now with some bickering.
  4. He’s not on the second unit though, they have him running a lot with first team LG. A lot of mixing and matching going on right now. Bozeman at first team LG then second team C, guys are all over the place right now.
  5. I get that with certain positions, for example, Darnold and Mayfield were both ass last year so make one of them earn it. Bozeman on the other hand was milessssss better than any of the guards or centers on our roster last year.
  6. Elflein still appears to be running as 1C in drills, doesn’t make sense. Bozeman was an above average center last year with the Ravens and is somehow behind Elflein. It would only make sense if the Panthers truly believe that Christensen can’t play guard and are forced to put Bozeman there.
  7. Zarzour said that he believes the current Panthers OL depth chart is… Ekwonu - Bozeman - Elflein - Corbett - Moton Smitty stated that before it’s all said and done it will be Ekwonu - Christensen- Bozeman - Corbett - Moton. Smitty also really likes Cade Mays. Assuming the Panthers keep 10 OL, Elflein, Tecklenburg, Brown, Daley, Jordan, Horton, Pleasants, Erving, and Miller are battling for the final four spots.
  8. I don’t know if I could jump rope for a minute not to mention having to move while doing it.
  9. So do we get a Saturday thread or are we using this one? Anywho, NFLN with some good coverage right now. Thomas Davis on NFLN and Steve Smith on Panthers.com.
  10. Hegardt back at it again… two more assists tonight in a 4-0 win for the Charlotte Independence. That’s 1 goal and 4 assists in his last two marches with the Independence.
  11. I’ll also mention that anyone that follows the EPL knows that the Daily Mail is poo but… I’d have to think they have some concrete evidence to name drop Charlotte of all teams.
  12. Anyone familiar with the EPL knows who Ramsey is, the former Arsenal standout recently had his contract ripped up at Juventus and is now looking for a new club. Ramsey would bring stability to Charlotte’s midfield and a combination of Ramsey and Yueill could be quite dynamic. Ramsey’s most recent matches came as a member of the Welsh national team. He suited up in two of Wales’ UEFA Nations League matches recording an assist in one of the matches against Belgium that finished in a 1-1 draw. Ramsey’s countryman, Gareth Bale, recently joined LAFC.
  13. If the Jazz send him to a team like Milwaukee, then sure, ask for seven first rounders, all those picks are bound to be 25 or later anyway. However, if they send him to a potential lottery team like New York, Charlotte, or Washington, then they can expect to receive no more than a max of what amounts to four first round picks. Three first rounders along with Kai Jones is the equivalent to four first rounders. Rozier and Oubre would make up any difference in perceived value in my opinion. The Hornets could also take back any questionable contract that the Jazz would like to move (Malik Beasley or Jordan Clarkson).
  14. Yueill captains San Jose while also patrolling their midfield and has the ability to play all three positions (attacking, holding, defensive), he even started the season at center back for the Earthquakes. San Jose fans seem to think his play has fallen off a bit, mind you, Colorado fans thought Shinyashiki’s play had fallen off. Yueill would instantly become our best midfielder and at only 25, he has plenty of room to grow. Yueill has gone the full 90’ in 18 of the 19 MLS matches that he’s participated in this year, he’s registered four goals and one assist.
  15. The Jags cut rookie kicker Andrew Mevis… after he drilled a bystander with an errant kick today. Apparently Mevis missed three field goal attempts by a wide margin and one of them hit former Dallas Cowboys head coach, Dave Campo, in the shoulder. Apparently Campo now works for a local sports talk radio show in the Jax area. The fate of the Jags kicking game now rests in the hands of former Panthers, Ryan Santoso and Elliott Fry.
  16. The Jazz are clearly asking for wayyyyy too much. I’d prefer to send out Hayward in a trade for Mitchell but I’d be okay with sending out Rozier as well since it could potentially open up playing time for Bouknight. I’d be interested in something like Terry Rozier, Kelly Oubre, Kai Jones, and 3 first round picks for Donovan Mitchell and Jordan Clarkson.
  17. Wasn’t the replay official and his family from Denver and big Broncos fans? I vaguely remember there being a story about the replay officials’ family positing pictures on social media with Clete Blakeman and the officials wife was decked out in Broncos garb. I believe the NFL had to release a statement saying that the replay official wasn’t responsible for calls but just there to facilitate conversation between Blandino and Blakeman. Not sure of the accuracy of that.
  18. Get out of here with that rational thinking.
  19. If I’m not mistaken he got a one-way which was probably big for him.
  20. Yep, he’ll be in Chicago. Noesen’s contract actually pays him more at the NHL level than Dzingel’s does which is kind of telling. Nonetheless, Dzingel will provide good leadership and skill for a Chicago team that lost both Leivo (Blues) and Poturalski (Kraken) and is more than likely going to lose Drury (Canes) and potentially Noesen (Canes). Anywho, welcome back Dzingelberry.
