People are definitely crazy here. I’ve got so many stories and the majority of them you’d probably think I was lying. The beaches and and just overall scenic beauty of the state rivals the best that any state can offer if you are willing to put the time into explore but the majority of people would rather go to the tourist attractions. Yeah our weather sucks for 9 months out of the year but I couldn’t ask for better weather from December through February.

Looks like the Canes finally have their roster as Tyson Jost has been waived with the purpose of sending him to Chicago. Fast was also put on LTIR so the Canes will be going into the season with $2.50M in cap space. I completely forgot that the MLS changed the playoff format so that round one is a best of three series; so no matter what we get a home playoff game. I’m hoping we hold that sixth spot because we’ve played well against Cincinnati and we’d also avoid Miami in the next round. NYCFC should beat Montreal and Charlotte should beat D.C. United. If those results happen then we’ll keep sixth.

Evacuated my father from his home in Vilano Beach right by St. Augustine since he’s in a zone A. It looks like he’ll be okay but didn’t want to take any chances since they did a mandatory evacuation for his county. He’s with me in Orlando and we are just waiting to the wind to start.

They will be closing at 1PM tomorrow and are likely going to be closed Thursday. Downtown St. Augustine which is usually full of tourists is completely dead.

You can also use the shoulder coming out of Tampa, they are using it as an extra lane.

Realized I said this wrong, got back from NC to Florida. Had a friend fly me up in his Cessna to help with some family members houses and now I’m back sandbagging more family members houses in Florida.

Tolls are suspended so depending on where you are heading don’t forget you can use the expressways like (I4 Express, etc.). I’m in Orlando and my family is in St. Augustine. Only reason I’m concerned is because my families house sits on the beach in St. Augustine and their road always floods during hurricanes. Definitely will be thinking about those in the greater Tampa area, it’s going to be horrible.

Once the 23 man roster is submitted then Montgomery will be assigned to Chicago and Blake will come back. Still have some moves to make likely Ryan and Montgomery down after the Canes do some cap gymnastics.

Milton looks like it could fug Tampa, Orlando, and Jacksonville. Its’ path is a very rare one and though it’s only projected to be a category 3, Florida has been planning for a category 5 storm just like the path that Milton is on for 15 years. A category 5 storm on the same path as Milton would be projected to be the most costliest event in US history.
