Missing too many bodies… Mann, Bridges, both Williams’, and Richards. Also, the bench needs to be revamped in the offseason. Ideally you are bringing scorers off the bench, the Hornets are bringing guys off the bench like Martin and Diabate. They are good players but they don’t provide much offense. The Magic had 53 bench points which is insane. Also… 27 turnovers is ridiculous. Ball and Miller are the future but they can’t commit 13 turnovers.

Dallas’ defensive integrity is very good and we are getting nothing going on the forecheck. We need to create some turnovers in the neutral zone and turn those turnovers into odd man rushes.
-
Need to be much tighter defensively.
-
Canes need to play like David Ayers is in net because he may as well be.
-
That was a horrible shift by Chatfield.
-
The Canes love bringing back former players. See you soon Petr.

Picked up Coker in my dynasty league, think he can develop into a consistent 800x5 guy with good QB play.

"Setting the table" for the NFL offseason
MillionDollarCam replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Zac Taylor is in an interesting situation. The Bengals defense is putrid and the question needs to be asked, do you potentially waste another year of Joe Burrow’s career banking on Taylor to fix it? If there’s one thing teams should learn from the Panthers, it’s don’t waste your MVP QB’s career hoping that your struggling coach can turn it around. Not to mention, the Bengals job would be highly coveted, they could probably pry Ben Johnson from Detroit. -
The Canes keep winning and scoring four plus goals a game without one their 65+ point forwards. Meanwhile Martinook is on pace for 58 points, Ghost is on pace for 62 points, and Jackson Blake is on pace for 25 goals.

If it’s Perets we are fuged. Martin has at least proven to be a NHL caliber goalie, Perets hasn’t even proved to be an AHL caliber goalie.

Aho

To be funny I almost jokingly was going to call a Martin shutout. Looks like I played myself.

Will take the wins anyway they come but seeing fuging Pat Connaughton get into the lane and lay the ball in just reinforces how desperately we need a rim protector. Williams is probably better than Duren when healthy but you are only as good as the games you play. Kupchak really fuged that one up.
-
Hard to compete without a rim protector. No Williams and Richards is big, add in Bridges and that’s just too many rotational guys on the shelf right now. Mark should be getting close but who knows how long he’ll be healthy. He didn’t seem to have a big injury history in HS and college so not exactly sure what happened unless the Hornets just aren’t preparing their guys correctly.

9… 9… 9 minutes of PP time and not a single goal.
-
Ran into a goalie going beast mode along with our head coach just watching the game get out of hand is not a good recipe for success.
-
Rod just blew this one hard. Needed a timeout.
-
And now it’s too late to call the timeout, Rod has to be bette than that.
-
Call the timeout

You watched too many Charlotte FC games this year lol. Utah HC

Tulsky deserves a ton of credit for his offseason acquisitions but RBA deserves just as much for adapting his system. He’s much more lenient this year in allowing guys to enter the zone with the puck rather than just dump and chase. We are still in the 99th percentile in o-zone time but we are also getting a good amount of goals off the rush and in transition. This team has a great balance between playing system hockey and making individual plays. Who knows where this season will take us but Rod is on another level right now coaching wise.

Yeah you’re right. Wilks actually had UDFA P.J. Walker looking like a starting QB. Meanwhile our run game under Wilks was just as good as it is now and our defense was just as bad. Here’s a stat for you… Since 11/21/21 (almost three years ago) the Panthers have scored 30+ points six times, three of those times were when Wilks was head coach for 12 games. The Panthers aren’t a good football team and winning this game doesn’t change that.
-
This team looks exactly like the Steve Wilks coached Panthers. Congrats to Tepper for being played again.
