If fanbases were synonymous with winning then the Cowboys would never lose… since they aren’t, the point still stands that the Panthers are ass and the Canes and even the Hornets for that matter, are superior teams.

Think you are right about this. It’s kind of telling that RBA won’t let Raanta face his former team even with how bad they are. Freddie played 52 games with Toronto last year, if things go as planned, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Freddie get 60 games and Raanta get 22.

I really wouldn’t even call this a third chance. His second chance was due to his past racist and abusive history towards players and officials (which is completely unacceptable)… the most recent example of this would be when he was suspended for verbally abusing an official in 2016 when he was with Arizona (no other incidents since). His political views and tweets are a non-issue to me. Freedom of speech is still a thing and while his social media presence was controversial to say the least, I’d say a true sports fan would care more about the team succeeding than some players political views. Personally I don’t care who our players support, American politics are poo and they make everyone look like as ass anyway so why let it bother me… Also a non-issue is the ‘fight’ between TDA and Georgiev. This literally happens all the time in professional sports, a lot of the altercations don’t make it out to the public but some do. Hell, our (Panthers) star quarterback beat the poo out of star cornerback in practice… The only issue I have is with how he treats people. My number one rule is don’t be a dick and from what it sounds like he’s headed down the right path for now. I hope he keeps it up.

We have a log jam down the middle with Aho, Trocheck, Staal, and Stepan. Lorentz, Martinook, Jarvis, Necas, and Kotkaniemi can also play center if needed. What really hurt Ryan was that he had a serious eye injury in 2019 and it’s taken him a while to regain his form. Unfortunately, during that time, Jack Drury has really progressed and has more than likely jumped Suzuki in the pecking order. I think Ryan projects as a 3C in the NHL and unfortunately for him that position is occupied by Jordan Staal for at the very least this year and next year. I would not be surprised if he is used as a piece to facilitate a trade in the coming years as the Canes will still have a lot of young center depth. No doubt that Jarvis will be a good player but I think the Canes are thinking of it from a long-term contract perspective. Ultimately I think it depends on how significant Nino’s injury is. If he’s looking at a month and a half or so then I wouldn’t be surprised if Jarvis gets 9 games and then the Canes call up someone like C.J. Well Jarvis, you’re up kid… Keep in mind, at 10 games played he would burn his first year of his ELC. Jarvis’ 10th game would be Nov. 22nd. It looked like Nino did some damage to his ankle which would more than likely be a minimum of three weeks. As Jarvis gets close to the 10 game threshold, it will be interesting to see if they burn his first year or if they call up a veteran like C.J. Smith, Stefan Noesen, or Andrew Poturalski. Jamieson Rees would have been an option but he just had knee surgery.
