Matt Rhule… I’m convinced that Baylor won in spite of him. Let’s not forget his 2017 team loss to fuging Liberty, UTSA, and Duke in a three game span. If he is the elite coach that he thinks he is then Baylor should be poo after he purged their entire coaching staff. Instead they are 7-2 and ranked 18th in the country. It’s funny how things even out in the NFL for these college coaches when they realize that they aren’t playing cupcake teams with simplified offensive and defensive philosophies every week. Brady is up there as well but ultimately the HC has to have the brass balls to try and fix the mess… speaking of brass balls, Tepper is no where to be seen… he’s all talk.

I enjoyed watching Brian St. Pierre throw ducks to David Gettis more than I’ve enjoyed watching Darnold poo all over his leg.

Not necessarily, at least he can’t hurt us from the bench.

P.J. threw more TD’s in that game (one) than Darnold has thrown in his last three (Giants, Falcons, Patriots)… there is no amount of interceptions that P.J. could throw that would make inserting him in the game a bad decision… that’s how low the bar is right now.

I’d rather watch P.J. throw interceptions than watch Darnold piss down his leg. Watching a ball fly over 10 yards in the air would probably cause me to lose no nut November…

I’ll also mention that I don’t hate Bear (he seems like a nice kid), he just looks like he struggles against higher end teams. He chases the play here instead of staying home - result was a goal. He loses a puck battle along the boards here - result was a goal Screens Andersen here… if you aren’t going to block the shot at least make sure the goalie can see - result was a goal Just really unimpressed with him tonight.

They can’t play all the time and it’s obvious that Bear is affecting Slavin’s play. I’d be curious as to what Anaheim would want for Josh Manson. Slavin - Pesce Skjei - Manson Cole - TDA Smith - Bear This is a defense I can get behind.

A big issue we are going to run into is defensive play come playoff time. I’m personally not sold on Bear and TDA is obviously a third pairing/PP defenseman. With Nino being a UFA at seasons end and the emergence of Jarvis, I wonder if we could package him with someone like Ryan Suzuki to get a top four d-man with a little term. As of right now I have no desire to keep Bear and I wouldn’t go more than $4.5M per year for TDA.

From bad to worse… apparently TDA said something to Duclair, obviously people guessing it was a racial slur. If it was… he’s gone.

This hopefully is a wake up call for this team. Won the second period and tied the third (excluding empty net/extra attacker) but the horrible first cost us the game.

Jarvis up to the third line, it’s a start.

No net front presence and the passing is too slow. Florida scored two power play goals because they had a net front presence on one and moved the puck really quickly to spread out the defense on the other. RBA’s power play is so predictable… it’s the bumper play or have TDA feed it to the sides for a one-timer.

Here’s the reason that’s a major. TDA literally warns Lomberg that he’s going to run Raanta by tapping him on the arm. Lomberg ignores, doesn’t pick his head up, and makes contact with the head. This type of play happens once a week and usually results in the players having the wherewithal to realize the goalie is out. Lomberg reaches out for the puck half heartedly knowing that there was going to be a collision. That poo was intentional. l

Need to get another one before this is over.

Power play is poo. They thought it was good because they beat up on shitty teams.

The main issue is that players are responsible for there whereabouts. Pick your fuging head and skate around him… This poo happens all the time but for some reason it’s always our goalies who get ran.

Well Raanta is gonna be out for a while… Alex Lyon will be on the next flight to Florida.
