Welcome to the show Vernon Carey. Have to think that if JB sticks with an 8 man rotation that our bench will be our rookies (Bouknight, Thor, Jones). Edit: Technically our whole bench is rookies (Lewis and Kubolka included). We need this version of Carey along with every starter dropping 15+ in order to win this game.

Charlotte FC Reveals Primary Kit
MillionDollarCam replied to MillionDollarCam's topic in Charlotte Football Club
Overall the authentic is not a bad kit. Some will say it’s bland but I think the more appropriate term is clean. This kit will probably be middle of the pack in sales and that’s probably what we’re shooting for to be honest. Once we’ve established a foot print in the MLS we can start to incorporate controversial ideas (pinstripes for the Hornets, checkered sleeves for NASCAR, etc.). -

Charlotte FC also just released a kit with numbers. I do think the numbers look rather good. -

For those wondering why we will be dubbed Blue Arsenal… see below for their 2019 kit. -

You can purchase the new kit below. It looks like the leaked kit at Dick’s was the replica as where the authentic kit has a little more detail (secondary sponsor, MLS patch, colored collar, CLT FC on the back neck, authentic markings). -
Looks like the leaks were right, we are blue Arsenal.

This is the worst officiated game all season.
-
I’d allow this excuse but we only had around 7 last night.
-
Start moving the ball better and stop turning the ball over and we’ll be fine. Worst ball movement from any game I can remember.
-
This is what happened last game… all the calls magically started going against us… specifically the shooting fouls (the one’s that matter).
-
Need one of Bouknight or Washington to provide some depth.
-
Good news!
-
Hopefully Nick’s x-ray’s are negative, he’s been playing well.
-
Looks like Kupchak may have hit on another second round pick in JT Thor.
-
Going to be interesting to see if the youngins earned extra playing time.

Vinny Trocheck and His Future
MillionDollarCam replied to Anybodyhome's topic in Carolina Hurricanes
I actually think we manage to keep him for around $6M per year. Dundon values offense more than defense. After all, he stated that we’d never draft a defenseman in the first round while he is owner. Not to mention, the Canes value the center position more than any other position as they are constantly drafting centers. I think Trocheck is resigned as he’s the perfect 2C. Additionally, I think the thought was that KK could make Trocheck expendable but that’s obviously not the case. Couple that with the fact that Staal is on his last contract with the Canes, I believe Trocheck is resigned to a $6Mx5 and he makes it in the fourth year of his deal before he is traded. For the next couple of years I project that we stick with Aho/Trocheck/Staal/KK or Drury I could see the future looking like Aho/Jarvis/KK or Rees/Drury -
It’s the pointy elbows for me.

No idea of the validity of these two accounts.

Hey I agree, PJ straight up is all I’d offer. Unfortunately the Pacers are creating a bidding war and someone will do something stupid.
-
It’s not how we evaluate him, it how the Pacers value him. He’s been in the block for forever and never gotten moved. That should tell you all you need to know… it wouldn’t be cheap. Anyone thinking otherwise is delusional.
-
A rebuilding team is not taking Hayward’s contract. You can’t rebuild when the guy you are trading for has more years on his contract than the guys you are trading out.
-
I’ll say it also hurts not having our first round pick to use… unless everyone will be okay with offering Kai. You’d have think that the Pacers would want Washington and some combination of draft picks. Since we don’t have draft picks they’d be looking at Bouknight (untouchable) and Jones. Would the Hornets be willing to part with Washington, Jones, and Plumlee (salary filler) for Turner and a 2nd round pick? PG - Ball, Smith SG - Rozier, Martin, Bouknight SF - Hayward, Oubre, Lewis PF - Bridges, McDaniels, Thor, Kubolka C - Turner, Richards, Carey That’s quite a bit to give up… but a solid looking roster.

I don’t know if we really have anything of interest to the Pacers. They are going to want young players and our team is made up of young (but untouchable players). Contending teams are going to be better equipped to make a run because they can give up young talent.
