Could the Panthers beat Alabama?
MillionDollarCam replied to Carl Spackler's topic in Carolina Panthers
Playing devils advocate, the closest thing that we’ve seen to this was when a bunch of children from the USA beat arguably the best hockey team of all time (USSR). So while it’s unlikely that we’d lose, there’s always the chance. And while yes the sports are different, the premise is still the same. The USSR was bigger, faster, and had more experience… but for that one game it didn’t matter. I still think that we’d beat Bama by 35+ points 99/100 times. -
Team Sweden Update Sweden defeated Slovakia 3-0 yesterday to improve to 2-0 in the tournament. While Nybeck still hasn’t found his game yet, Nystrom has become a little more active. He had a nice hit early in the game which unfortunately was incorrectly whistled for tripping. He’s already getting the shaft so he should fit in well with the Canes. Nystrom also had a nice assist off the boards to Sjoberg who finished off the breakaway. Joel Nyström (Sweden - RD) 2 GP - 0 goals, 1 assist, 1 point, +2 Zion Nybeck (Sweden - RW) 2 GP - 0 goals, 0 assists, 0 points, -1 Tripping or Clean Hit? Nystrom Assist

I’m thinking that Kahlina is more than likely going to be the number one over Sisniega. This is how I see it right now. GK - Kristijan Kahlina (XI), Pablo Sisniega (SUB) LB - Joseph Mora (XI), Adam Armour (SUB) CB - Anton Walkes (XI), Jan Sobocinski (SUB) CB - Guzman Corujo (XI), Christian Fuchs (SUB) RB - Jaylen Lindsey (XI), Harrison Afful (SUB) CDM - Jordy Alcivar (XI) CM - Riley McGree (XI), Alan Franco (SUB) CM - Sergio Ruiz (XI), Brandt Bronico (SUB) LW - ? CF - Yordy Reyna (XI), Vinicius Mello (SUB) RW - McKinzie Gaines (SUB)

Christmas Updates: Tepper—you’re losing fans
MillionDollarCam replied to davos's topic in Carolina Panthers
I will continue to watch as well, from the comfort of my own home. I’m also intelligent enough to understand that watching from my home is not the equivalent to what the OP’s family had been doing. The OP’s financial obligations to the Panthers are a lot more hefty than mine. So if the OP decides that he wants to sell his PSL’s then that’s perfectly fine and it doesn’t make him any less of a fan. -
Maliek Collins would be a nice add to replace DaQuan Jones. He’s been a damn good pass rushing threat on a bad Houston team. For run defense, D.J. Jones is the obvious answer. He’s been arguably the best run stuffer in the NFL. This is a great year to add a run stuffing DT though. D.J. Jones, Foley Fatukasi, Harrison Phillips, and Al Woods have all been elite run stuffers this year. Edit: Here’s the list where I pulled my info. If you are into PFF, grades below. Al Woods - 77.3 Harrison Phillips - 77.0 D.J. Jones - 75.5 Foley Fatukasi - 65.3

Things that you love to see… everyone that played had a point. Good win.

Worst of the season and it’s not even close.

Think Oubre is wondering why fans are doing the wave while he is shooting free throws… lol.

"It's working, you just can't see it"
MillionDollarCam replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
This is the type of poo you tell your kids in regards to Santa… Santa is real, you just can’t see him… Well those kids end up growing up and realize that you are full of poo. Well Matt… most of the fanbases has grown up over the past two years and we now realize that you are full of poo. -
All five starters along with Oubre are in double figures and overall the only players that’s really struggled is the one who’s coming back from covid (Martin). You love to see it.

Damn… got to have your head on a swivel when Houston is in town. 1 out of 5 passes ends up in the bleachers.

Team Russia Update Russia beat Switzerland 4-2 to get their first win. It was an interesting day for our Russian prospects… Pashin was scratched, Guslistov was dressed and active but didn’t play a single minute (unfortunately that still counts as a played game), and Ponomaryov had your typical “blend into the action” type of game… he was a +2 with no points. Nikita Guslistov (Russia - C): 2 GP - 0 goals, 0 assists, 0 points, -1 Alexander Pashin (Russia - RW): 1 GP - 0 goals, 0 assists, 0 points, +/-0 Vasili Ponomaryov (Russia - C): 2 GP - 0 goals, 0 assists, 0 points, +2

Need to see this version of Plumdog more often, he looks engaged today.

Awesome headshot by Christian Wood.

Could have milked it better, especially with MJ sitting court side.

Holy poo that lady got clocked… reminded me of when Henderson decked a lady with a similar pass.

I don’t know what Kelly has to do to win sixth man of the year but he’s been a godsend to this team.

Need the defense to show up.

Robby Anderson: “We don’t want no fake fans”
MillionDollarCam replied to Panthers Rhule's topic in Carolina Panthers
Robby seems like a swell fellow but he can wipe his tears on the 2yr./$29.5M contract he signed. Entertainers have to realize that they are going into a business where they will constantly be under the microscope, as such they are paid handsomely. If he wants to trade salaries for the year I’ll drive his happy ass to my place of employment and provide him with a megaphone so he can boo the ever-living poo out of me when I mess up. Until then… he’s best off just going about his business. -
I’ll go ahead and do a Team Finland update, Finland beat Austria 7-1 today to move to 2-0 and our boys continue to impress. Ville Koivunen (Finland - RW): 2 GP - 2 goals, 2 assists, 4 points, +6 Aleksi Heimosalmi (Finland - RD): 2 GP - 0 goals, 2 assists, 2 points, +3 Koivunen was named the player of the game for Finland. Highlights Below Koivunen Goal 1 - Glides down the middle of the ice and finds a hole in the defense, Lambert finds him on the pretty feed. Koivunen Assist 1 - Wins a board battle and slips a sweet pass out in front to Helenius for the goal. Koivunen Goal 2 - The Ovechkin, enough said… not pictured was Heimosalmi’s secondary assist.

Only six more to go before team immunity… sad that this is where we are in life.
