  1. You’re right, Zion blew out a pair of Nike’s. And honestly, for me, it’s more about the person. The Hornets desperately need a leader; Melo doesn’t even have to play to be that guy, but that’s not who he is. In hindsight, the Hornets should have traded that pick for a draft night haul.
  2. Like what Tripp had to say about the Canes going forward. We’re going up to Boston with the intent to win, then we’ll come home for a quick break and regroup. Guys who are banged up come out and guys who may not want to risk it come out. We need to get guys like Kotkaniemi, Lemiuex, DeAngelo, and Martin in so they are fresh and if the young guys like Nadeau, Morrow, and Blake (if he signs) are ready, then get them in the game so they can get an early taste of NHL life. Trikozov’s contract doesn’t start until next year which is why I didn’t mention him. Also, I’d approach Raanta and ask if he wants to come up for the playoffs. If he’d prefer to continue playing in Chicago then great, but if he wants to be a part of the team for the playoffs then they need to make it happen.
  3. I don’t even want to give that idiot (LaVar) a response but he might be on to something with the shoes. It is odd that all of Puma’s athletes (LaMelo, Barrett, Ayton, Smart, Kuzma) suffer from ankle issues.
  4. Been a quiet game but when you are up 2-0, now 3-0, quiet is good.
  5. I mean I do agree it’s unlikely she’s in the NBA, she has a sweet gig, why leave. If I was her I wouldn’t even want the Hornets job.
  6. Disagree, especially from the Hornets perspective, Staley has proven success has a head coach, Hammon does not. Not to mention Staley is a local. She led the Sting to the WNBA Finals. Staley has a much better chance of becoming the Hornets HC than Hammon, though I do agree, it’s unlikely Staley will be the HC of the Hornets.
  7. I rarely post on the main forum it’s full of people who are too optimistic or too pessimistic. It’s hard to have a good conversation because no one is level headed.
  8. BY9 got banned yet we get the Panthers bot posting poo like, “why we extended Derrick Brown”. We should call a spade and spade and just say that you can do anything you want to on this board except hurt the feelings of those that can ban you. But I get it, if I was a mod and someone hurt my internet feelings I’d kick them out too lmao.
  9. He’ll start going to his local Starbucks to post.
  10. She will not coach another college team except SC for a long time. Not sure if you are familiar with college coach contracts but a thing called a ‘buyout’ exists. There’s not a school in America that would touch her buyout right now. It’s either the NBA or South Carolina.
  11. I’ve seen it on ESPN and I know for a fact they were referencing college ball.
  12. Which is surprising because women usually hate other women the most. The hate Clark has gotten from some of the WNBA legends is absurd.
  13. No one meaningful called her the GOAT of women’s basketball, it’s all been specifically referencing college ball. Anyone who is saying she is the greatest women’s player of all time is just a regular Joe with a Twitter account.
  14. That’s true, Cletus is surprisingly athletic for a farmer.
  15. Iowa had all the momentum before buddy decided to go one on three.
  16. Jackson Blake is in Raleigh working out with the Canes, imagine a deal is done soon.
  17. Bump Greenville up to the AHL. Would love to be a Swamp Rabbits fan.
  18. Nadeau and Trikozov have been signed… are we going to have a AHL team next year? Lot’s of guys getting signed and we are still working on Blake.
  19. At what point does Clark get T’d up, her whining is reminiscent of a young LeBron. Complaining after every miss.
  20. Danger zone for Iowa. Too much athleticism for South Carolina and now they are hitting shots.
