  1. The gate expansion is going to be the biggest improvement for the NFL. Looks 4 times bigger than the security gate to get in now and should make a huge improvement on speeds getting through security.
  2. His ex-wife is worth 58 billion. Let that sink in.
  3. Umm yeah OK. Well at least two other CB graded worse out of the 121.
  4. Did you watch the same games as me? Pride was lost. TBH I didn't see anything that showed promise of a starting corner.
  5. Voth hinted on Twitter Obada wouldn’t sign his tender. That would explain some things.
  6. Tepper has donated $125m to Carnegie Mellon. I am sure JR's number of $150m is no coincidence.
  7. Based on passed actions, his kids probably don't like him. Probably a big FU to them (and as stated, he likes his name on things and they are the only ones that would keep it up). Of course the rich helping the rich is the way Jerry would want it.
  8. No...but that's the type of team that would mortgage 3 firsts for a 32yr old QB. Someone that is one piece away from the Lombardy
  9. Thats a deal for the 49ers who are a just a few pieces away from a SB. You don't mortgage that much for a maybe 5 year window.
  10. Dude was passing $200k in bad checks at a casino this summer and was arrested. "Homies took advantage of me" was the defense. If you have homies like that, I am sure they have scammed him out of a ton of money, even if this one wasn't his fault. Gonna go out on a limb and guess his gambling and buddies have not been kind on the cash.
  11. Miami. - No state income tax (California Pro Sports income tax is retarded). Chance to win. Major endorsement opportunities. Savior of a franchise. Live the true luxury life if thats what he wanted. Carolina - Major offensive weapons, low cost of living, good place to settle down, able to live low key life it thats what he wanted. Good long term possibilities, not so much for short term. San Fran - Taxed out of mind, high expectations, extremely high cost of living. Best short term chance at a ring. If I am him, I am thinking long term and head to Miami if he had a choice. But he wouldn't turn Miami, CLT, SFO or Indy.
  12. And how many were built in a completely undeveloped downtown area in the fastest growing city in the US? And how many will be able to completely redevelop the current stadium location with office towers, condos, apts? Look at the parcel that is being built directly across from the stadium. 5 towers on a footprint smaller than the stadium.
  13. You do realize, the more he builds, the bigger the city/state tax rolls get right? Maybe not directly on new stadium land, but for ALL the new development it will spur in the area. City taxes paid for the light rail...remember Southend didn't look like this 10 years ago. All those new apartments, restaurants, office towers are now huge property tax payers for the next 50 years. You have to spend money to make money...city included. Could he do it without assistance? Sure. Is it in the best interest to the city of Charlotte if he does it uptown vs unincorporated Meck county, you're damn right it is. A stadium in a field on the border spurs no growth. A billionaire developer re-doing an entire blank canvas section of uptown can transform a city.
  14. At worst, a signing like Jake Long provides some Pro Bowl knowledge at the now thin and young tackle positions. Hopefully he never has to play more than 4 games in a row but at this point, would you rather an Ex-pro bowler who is often injured or Chris Scott backing up Oher?
  15. He is 10x better than Byrd is (I have watched every gamecock game the past 10 years).
