  1. I do not think Rhule likes Cam. He already made up his mind the first go round that Cam was not going to fit into his glorious system. He viewed Cam's personality as a threat to "do your job" and it's "not about one player". He never even gave Cam a chance. I believe the only reason he's back is Tepper dictated it as a desperation to rejuvenate the fan base and potentially make a playoff run...both of which make Tepper a lot more money. Once Cam got here, Rhule took subtle shots at and downplayed the energy that Cam brought with him. I do think that Rhule did slightly change his tune once he got to see Cam's work ethic and how much of a leader he was. But, this terrible strategy of "don't forget about my guy PJ because he knows the 2-minute offense better" and forcing him into the game is a pathetic display of nepotism.
  2. I can get down with a pinot grigio...nice crisp taste especially when it's nice and cold. Everything else to me I can't even force myself to drink it.
  3. One of the best FA acquisitions we've had in a long time at a crucial position. I hope we can afford to keep him as he definitely needs to be a priority.
  4. I think the seam route to CMC was the longest throw. I don't ever remember seeing a "normal" deep shot that traveled 35+ yards in the air. Very frustrating and you're literally going out of your way to make it easier for the defense to guard you with those play designs.
  5. Not to get too personal with a bunch of technically strangers, but I've been battling with depression, anxiety, and ADHD for the last several years (I'm on the uptick!) -- due to this I have not been to a Panthers game in three years. Once I heard Cam was back, I immediately said to myself, I can do this and I am going to that game. Fast forward to yesterday....Cam scrambles and runs it in from 24 yards out and I jolt out of my seat screaming like Igo watching Olsen catch the winning TD @Seattle in 2015. Well.... thanks to one of my meds that I take for anxiety that can randomly lower your blood pressure as a side effect, I pass out from standing up too fast and fall right into the person next to me and come to a few seconds later to find myself really confused as to how Cam somehow teleported to the 50 yard line....talk about a mind screw (I was completely uninjured fyi). The missing pieces got connected once I saw the replay on the jumbotron. The point? Cam is back. While I'm normally a die hard, ruin your day if they lose type of fan....this game for me was about Cam being back and I WANTED to be there to both witness and support Cam. Nothing about this team over the last three years has even remotely pushed my brain to face the demons/hurdles and consider attending a game...even though I purchase my Roaring Riot membership religiously every year... mostly to support the cause, but also JIC. But this Sunday, I wouldn't miss it for the world simply because CAM IS BACK -- and you know what? It felt damn good that I was back too.
  6. I thought Cam played exceptional, especially given that it was pretty obvious most of the plays were one-read designs. While that makes sense due to Cam's short tenure in this offense, it wasn't threatening anyone.
  7. For those that were not at the game or are just reacting to what you think happened...after Donte got roasted by McLaurin in the first half, they switched Gilmore to him who then in return completely shut him down. The exceptions being when we were in zone and they motioned McLaurin away from Gilmore's side and back over to Donte. Gilmore played a large chunk and played amazing.
  8. I'm expecting the Panther fans that are in attendance to bring so much energy that it won't even matter how many WFT fans are there. Silver lining...in my experience the Washington fans usually are pretty good to be around (minus the exceptions) which is rare given the rest of the NFC East have some sketchy-douchy fan base.
  9. There are four things I'm expecting to see while in attendance at this game: 1) A warm welcome for Ron Rivera. One of the most genuine men to grace the Carolinas and regardless of his coaching shortcomings, he embodies the Keep Pounding mantra and he deserves some love (pre-kickoff) 2) Flyover for Veteran's Day (these always give me goose bumps) 3) Carolina dragging WFT all over the field (we are dangerous right now) 4) Cam coming last out of the tunnel followed by the loudest noise this stadium has heard since the 2015 NFC championship game vs Arizona where the stadium was flexing from the fans jumping up and down going nuts. My reaction to them all:
  10. This will be the first game I'll be in attendance in three years. I can't wait to see #1 be last out the tunnel when they introduce the offense...I legit will probably lose it and cry right as the jumbotron pans to my section.
  11. I blew my load and have so much more to give.... Cam's back, shouldn't we get more pie to go around?
  12. Reactionary... But got damn, Cam's back!
  13. Pretty sure on one play he actually sacked Darnold himself.
