ugh. would have liked to have seen one of those be a hard play action roll out. Hope D can get another stop. Bryce looked sharp last 2 drives -

Gifted 3 points by the refs there. Looking forward to see if Bryce can respond. Consistency has been lacking all season. Would be awesome to get back to back TD drives. Wishful thinking but maybe we can get a little Christmas miracle lol -

This season is an abomination no doubt. But man it's wild how much more competent the offense looks when we power run the ball, motion, misdirect, etc. Almost like Frank's offense was a large part of the problem. Shocker. -

Don't want to read another hype post/article or anything else about Evero. This is hands down the worst defense in the NFL. And send Burns to the fuging moon while we're at it. poo is embarrassing. -
If new coach gets rid of Howell this is 100% the correct move. Probably fools gold to think it happens though unless they end up with a top 2 pick.

Weapons, weapons, weapons. I don't care if its a WR or a TE but I expect multiple to be drafted and or signed in FA this year. I also expect unless Fitt is gone we will probably sign/draft the wrong ones but I digress. I expect this offseason to be the swinging of the pendulum the opposite way and to put as many quick twitch speed receivers they can around Bryce. Basically going to be a sink or swim season for him. If he looks like this (or God forbid continues to regress) next season then we have the offense in place to help our new QB1 we draft in the top 3 of 2025.

This was posted about midway through the 3rd quarter when we were driving down for Eddy to doink a FG. I still stand by at the time this was far from the worst game he's played despite what that stat line was. It may even have been the best. HOWEVER that absolutely isn't a glowing endorsement and does not absolve him of any blame (I even said make of that what you will) Being the tallest midget doesn't change the fact you're a midget. Bryce was probably number 5 or 6 on the list of reasons we lost the game today. Terrible playcalling on 4th down/redzone, Blocked Punt, inconsistent pass blocking, no separation at WR and of course the clown of a GM who put the roster together would rank higher as to why we lost today than Bryce imo. That said what we've seen from him this year absolutely is not going to win football games in the NFL on a consistent basis. It's not indicative of a player being worthy of a number 1 overall pick and it absolutely isn't inspiring any confidence for the future. Both of those things can be true at the same time. They're not mutually exclusive.

I'm gonna be honest... That stat line and this still may be his best game so far. Making plays on 3rd and long with his legs. Chark has had 3 bounce off his damn chest. Taking shots downfield. Still no separation from the WRs. That playcalling... Now make of that what you will but I don't think he's been the problem today. He just hasn't been the solution either.

I imagine Gabe Jackson probably gets elevated this week after getting up to speed. Brown may get a shot too. Cant be any worse lol

Comments about first game post-Reich?
SteveSmithTD89 replied to mc52beast's topic in Carolina Panthers
133 yards, 2 Goal line TDs on 4 yards a carry. Curious how you think it looks bad? Were there stuffed runs for no or negative gains? Yes, but the Bucs defense plays too. Only other back to go over 100 this year was Swift in Philly. The Run game was one of the few positives yesterday. -
What will he do? Probably continue to drop Burns in coverage. He was my favorite hire of the offseason but Ive become quite indifferent if he stays or goes. Lot of talk here about the yardage rankings while ignoring we've given up the 3rd most TDs in the league at 35, dead last in the NFL in turnovers and second to last in sacks with 18 (Chicago is last with 17) This defense is not good. It's honestly well below average. An obvious fluff article from the Panthers website doesn't change that. Sure he has had a rough go with the combination of injuries and our anemic offense but let's not cherry pick stats to make it seem like he has made chicken salad out of chicken poo... because it's still poo.

Officially activated and eligible to play.

Current odds on Panthers next coach
SteveSmithTD89 replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'd take a chance at Kellen Moore with those odds. He was a finalist last year and hasn't hurt his stock with the Chargers. -
Missed about half a dozen tackles. Sure it's Henry but they're missed tackles.
-
Valid. Not saying a similar arrangement couldn't work here. Also not saying he should be the end all hire. Was just playing a little devils advocate. Lynch came with no front office experience and hell he was a Fox host himself. Comparison seemed appropriate lol.
-
Or it's John Lynch, part two.
-
100% would be all in as long as he brings his current youth football DC with him. He would instantly command respect. Was a vocal leader as a player. Hell he had better clock management and situational awareness than Ron Rivera did and would lamblast him for stupid timeouts and challenges routinely.
