Not yet, I don't think, especially if Colin Jones might not be 100% yet. But with Marlowe on the PS, I think Harper could be worked out of a job even before the season ends.

I've never seen anyone speculate about 5 safeties except when Colin Jones injury was feared serious. I think Ron's made it clear Marlowe is headed to PS. We've got Coleman, Boston, Harper & Colin Jones. I'm guessing Marlowe to PS. Lester and Ball already cut, if I remember correctly.

Um... Daryl Williams plays offense I believe and looks to be maybe our best rookie of the draft. Wasn't a first rounder. Jury still out on Funchess. Let's see how he plays assuming he DOES heal up and play. If he ends up riding the bike all season, that will be terrible, but not exactly something G'man could have predicted.

In the other team cuts thread, I pulled together a list of all the 43 WRs who have been released so far. There are a few vets out there, but overall slim pickins Note: I've now discovered info for one player is incorrect, and I can't edit the original post since the thread is locked. Yes, sorry, I should have clarified, I meant Rookie UDFA, a guy with no playing experience.

As far as I know, it would be possible to send him to the IR tomorrow as we plan to do with KB. But, I believe that would mean losing him for the whole season. Perhaps if he's seeing the specialist today, and it's bad, we'll have to do that. If the specialist says there's a chance he could come back, we might hang on to him until the 2nd cuts and then we could put him on the IR with designation to return. We'd then get him back after 6 weeks, I believe. However, we can only do that with one guy per season. So, this is tough....
