  1. Our game against the Seahawks in Wk 6 was basically a playoff game. Just rewatched most of it last week, and the intensity was through the roof. I think our win in that game has really well prepared us for this upcoming match. Add in the home field advantage, and I'm excited!
  2. Well CAR - SEA is gonna be HUGE. We win, EVERYONE IN THE COUNTRY will know we are for real. This is the big time folks. GO PANTHERS, KEEP POUNDING!!! DEFEND OUR HOUSE
  3. Poor AJ McCarron. Watching his post-game interview. He got the team ahead, and then to have your defense lose it. He also mentioned how hard it was that it was raining harder several times when they were on offense. I remember that happening to us against Indy... Really sucks for him
  4. Yes, sorry, I meant Brown, not Jones.
  5. You've got to wonder how hurt Ben & Jones are.... they won, but could be very handicapped going forward. Update: meant Brown, not Jones
  6. What a wild few minutes! Yikes. Not over yet
  7. This game is not going to win any football fans for the NFL. So ugly. And if I were the Cinnci police, I'd be preparing for violent, angry fans assuming Bengals lose.
  8. So, looks like a real possibility of TWO shutouts today? ... obviously a ways to go, but it wouldn't be a surprise at this point
  9. Could be a long day for Houston. Wow. What a start for KC with that great kickoff return TD
  10. Soon... I hope. Others are doing a great job of providing stats for perspective. I'm slowly working on coming up with a post which will have lots of Panthers season data & charts, but most of my analysis so far is on a team level, not so much on individual players & postitions. (I've been slowed down by a badly sprained wrist the past 2 1/2 weeks. It means I've been limiting my time at the keyboard. Hurts to type.) So, thanks to all of you who are posting these great stats re: Cam's season.
  11. McClain looked really good yesterday. I'm not as worried as I normally would have been with this news re: Peanut.
  12. Not sure it's been posted, but according to J Jones latest article at the Observer, Cam & Kia's baby's name is CHOSEN... further adding to the Messianic theme. LOL.
  13. I've been wondering whether to do a Stats & Analysis thread. All 14 I've done this year, obviously, have been following wins. I probably will do one for this game tomorrow... It's a lot harder to get excited about crunching the numbers following a loss... and besides, before I start posting stuff, I want to get the gamebook data entered into my spreadsheet so I have a clearer picture of key trends. So... stay tuned.
  14. We had a string of drops / incompletions in the 4th quarter, when in other games we've been making those catches. Cotch & Olsen, as well as Brown. Not sure how much was the fault of pressure on Cam and some inaccuracy, vs. good defense by AZ. Very worried that Ted Ginn may be hurt. The big difference in our game today was no big plays. (Well 1 - a run by CAP, if I remember correctly) Our offense has been built around big plays all season. Today they were nowehere to be found,
  15. For all Panthers fans in Atlanta, enjoy the game! I predict Panthers 31, Falcons 17
  16. LOL at the Daily News front page. So typical! A bit worried about our secondary injuries and OBJ in the slot. But at least we've seen Cam can win a big offensive shoot out, having just done so against Brees. So, I'm confident the Panthers got this. But we can't let down. (so cliche... yet so true)
  17. Bene - out for season Luke, Stew, Cam, Olsen, Gano .... all dinged up a bit, but sounds like all are ok. David Mayo - hamstring. Colin Jones - groin Ben Jacobs - injured late in game, not sure what the issue was.
  18. Could be that BBR wrote the report before Jacobs injury, because it appeared 2 seconds after the game ended. So he may have missed that one.
  19. Via BBR http://blackandbluereview.com/rapid-reactions-falcons-at-panthers/ –The Panthers posted their first shutout since an identical 38-0 score against the Giants on Sept. 22, 2013. –The Panthers have scored 20 points in all 13 games.
