I found it interesting to do a side by side comparison of Jeremy's two roster predictions from Jun 19 and today. Here's the table for the defense. Unless Mayo shows something on Special Teams I'm wondering if he could slip to the PS. I still think it unlikely, but the percentage chance has crept up in my mind from like a 10% possibility to a 30% possibility. Rivera's press conference yesterday talked about the serious competition at various positions and how those 4th or 5th deep on the depth chart would have to be obvious contributors in multiple special teams phases. Who currently fits that model among the LBs who are battling for a spot? (I confess my fairly large ignorance of Special Teams phases... and would love to learn more.)

Pretty hard to argue with the picks you've listed. One question though about Foucault. Even with Jonathan Martin's departure, I've not heard his name at all in the mix as backup OT. How is he progressing? Do you think there's a chance he could lose his place on the PS or is he still a project the Panthers really want to invest in?

your prediction...the first fight in practice

Boy took me a few seconds there. "D Will" had me thinking DeAngelo Williams.... LOL -
Thanks for the feedback, Others please weigh in. Perhaps I could do some combo of both. Pasting text when it's merely a text tweet, and then embedding the tweet when there's media involved? (with a short text summary on top?)

Just an observation from my camp experience today

And it's not like it's just the Panthers who don't do 2 a days. Wasn't that banned by the CBA? -

Perhaps they want to protect against injury with 109 heat index? Perhaps they want to give reps to players they're trying to evaluate? (i.e. it's pretty crucial that they know whether Remmers can play Center if they're counting on him as backup!) I don't have a huge problem with it if the vets who were given time off have been playing well. Certainly TD, Stewart & Kalil have been..., Cotch too. I forget who else had vet days today. -
Well, I know we're certainly needing Ginn for ST... that alone would make 6 a real possibility I thought.
-
Actually, this reminds me... I've been wanting to ask which Huddlers prefer: 1) Embedding the tweet or 2) Copy & paste the text of the tweet? (e.g. screen capture) I've been mostly doing the former because it's easier for me, and that way people can click on the internal links or favorite, RT, etc., but if the embedded tweets don't show up for people, obviously that's a problem. Please comment if you have a preference.

So glad to know that folks like Jeremy & Bill Voth were providing a needed service for Coach Ron. Awesome. Certainly, I know that with my slavish following of Twitter the past few days, there's a sense of almost having been there. Especially as so many on Twitter now incorporate good pix, and short Vine videos...

I've been pretty sure we'd keep 6. If we keep 7, I'm thinking that may be to give Byrd a shot... But gee whiz, where are we gonna find the spots. I'm pretty confident (sadly) that Joe Webb is history, which would free one space....
-
Ok, I think the twitter feed is probably done for awhile, so I'm gonna go catch up on reading articles in the forum that I missed.
-
Given all the interceptions & forced fumbles so far in camp, I'm wondering, is there any way to track the numbers this year vs. last year? Is that something you could ask Jeremy? I don't recall hearing too much about our success in forced fumbles last year, but maybe I and we all are just more aware of them this year because of Peanut?
-
I've always wondered how a head coach handles praising offense vs. defense in a training camp. Obviously our D picking up the Peanut Punch is very exciting. So glad our offense get to train against some of THE best.

Devin is sounding confident based on this tweet:

OK, now Frank Alexander:

More from Ginn: [Sounds like we need to organize a race between the two. LOL!]

Now Ginn:

First up Damiere Byrd:

OK, now gonna cover some of the player interview tweets
