  1. I've seen Leggette everywhere from the teens to 68(3rd round). It actually seems like the closer the draft gets the more he slides.
  2. Idunno... its a weird ass situation. All training camp ..Bryce to Chark is the new thing. The season debut of that duo: A lil underwhelming. Dalton comes in: Chark TD Next week Bryce: repeat the underwhelming... ......it continues THEN: Vs Green Bay (Iirc) This is probably what the people saw in training camp. Next week: Back to normal Idunno how to classify it. Seemed like the whole offense was working with different playbooks. Add a C to the the two Guards we'll see. In college he could spin it. Not 70 yards Josh Allen spin but 40 if he could step into it and plant ... in the NFL, his deep ball got wildly inaccurate. I just dunno how much of that was due to horrible footwork. He needs a speedy/shifty WR for the short and intermediate. For the deep ball, he needs somebody that can track the ball and adjust. Somebody who can climb the ladder and catch the occasional prayer ball. Which is y I think his pops wants Leggette. And the reason Keon is still on our board imo. Side note: Besides body type, Legette and Mingo are not the same. Far too many people are already writing him off though. Give'em time.
  3. I don't know how serious our C needs are with Corbett in the mix BUT it seems a lil wild that they've put all those resources into the line but didn't address the most important position on it. I think we're using the Payton/Brees era formula. Elite Guard play over Elite tackle play. Brees wasn't a mobile Qb but he could navigate the pocket insanely well. He could also read defenses quickly and had a annoying ass quick release. That said, I despise the guy but Bryce has to be able to step up. It's that fact thats leading me to think that C is actually a priority and Corbett is a smoke screen/backup to LG. I don't think they're spending any more $$ on that line. So it's either 1 of 3 choices... Corbett is some unknown pro Bowler at C or he's atleast average at the position. 3rd option would be the worst case, which places the question mark in the middle. They released Boze to slide Corbett over? Nah, our next Center is coming from Oregon, Duke or Georgia imo. Hell I don't even think we've selected a Center in the last decade iirc.
  4. 30 Mil...... Damn!. How much $$ do we have tied up across that entire line? I will say Him and Hunt next to each other is VERY stout. If only I had as much confidence in Corbett at Center, we'd have brickwall infront of Bryce. Idunno how much cap space we have left but I figured they we're waiting to see if Gilmore will sign back for a couple years before they went moving money again. I also think we have our eyes on a tackle in the draft. I wish it were center but hopefully Corbett is more Ryan Kalil than Tyler Larsen/Greg Van Roten.
  5. Bo Nix ...QB John Rhys Plumlee ...QB JD Bertrand.... Linebacker Mark Perry ...Safety Andre Carter ...Edge
  6. Depends ... but I do think Dan has a target for this dude already laid out. NO DOUBT in my mind he's in love with the prospect of either Wilson and Cooper. If I had to put money on it...if either one of them are on the board, they'll be a Panther. As for needs it depends on how they view those exact positions. I think center is a glaring need but they seem to have Corbett locked in to the position. With a GM in his first draft and Canales as HC "everything" is on the table. Hell the Wildcard is the fact we brought in Bo Nix for a top 30 visit.
  7. His talent screams 1st Medical screams 3rd If he's still there at 39....ofcourse At 33....he'll have competition vs our other prioritized needs.
  8. I agree. They may be similar in build but Leggette has a sneaky speed 2 em and he can high point much better. Rarely does he caught from behind. AND he can track the ball at an above average level. He's 6'1 but plays like he's 6'5. I like Keon too but I think Leggette is our target. Leggette and ILB. I think helping Bryce would be to grab a guy and/or a TE that could go up and get it regularly. If Bryce's deep ball accuracy is in question than having a big threat that just happens to have the speed and can attack the ball if it's thrown anywhere in his area becomes extremely important. I'm not giving up on Mingo either. Hell when he was drafted I remember a few people saying he'd need time to refine his craft at the next level. I honestly think they might have asked him to do too much too soon and it overwhelmed him as a rookie.
  9. Well then if that's an indicator of WR success.... then maybe we should give Mingo more time to develop as they brought him in last year
  10. I mean .... it's not like we're talking about prime Kelce here. Hurst was a huge disappointment pre Injury imo. Great guy...but just wasn't working out. After his first TD he just faded away. I think they were moreso trying to save him from the risk and possible embarrassment of being a 3rd backup behind Tremble and Sullivan. Side note: Dan Arnold was a guy we should have never let walk. That said, Wiley, Bell or Stover on Day Three could be the answer.
  11. Damn Mingo !?!... Nah, I'm not giving up on him yet. I remember my patience for Derrick Brown when everyone was ready to move on. And from everything I've seen/heard about him... Mingo's work ethic should keep him far from complacent. That chart is wild though. Suprised to see Brian Thomas Jr at that spot. Gotta do more research on Franklin. And Leggette is a different breed. We need that redzone threat.
  12. On the bigger side I wouldn't mind Keon. Or even Sanders at TE. But at 33 it'll have to be between Ladd, AD, Worthy, and Franklin. I'd still add Leggette. Man ran a 4.3 but he's not as shifty... Or wait until later... Corley... don't sleep. Malik Washington Pearsall... Polk
  13. I can see the comparisons but Leggette has better hands and more breakaway speed. Wilson is a risk/reward player. When healthy he's everywhere.
  14. I'd agree ... throw in Vann Prann at 65 ... 3 impact starters in theory.
  15. Cooper is more Luvu (motor, blitz ability) Wilson is more Kuechly (tackling machine, instincts) Immediate impact players. And Wilson is not getting out the top 40 unless his medical is worse than expected. Cooper with his closing speed could be a nightmare in our scheme lined up with Clowney, Wonnum and Shaq. We could manufacture more pressure. And pairing Wilson and Jewell would be actually insane from the instincts standpoint. No more 30 yard run gashes. This draft is so deep we "could" walk out with 3 starting caliber players before our first pick in the fourth imo. And I'll say this, if we drafted Wilson or Cooper and ended up signing Gilmore...Our defense "should" be improved from last year. Cooper is the Day 1 playmaker while Wilson is the diagnose, play recognize and attack player. Both are plug and play ...for this team.
  16. He HAS to stop hopping around. Jumping on his toes. Idunno if he was just scared and overwhelmed or its because of his height. But after taking a close look at the All-22 ...his footwork is insanely bad at times. Canales has his hands full. I just don't think you go from Heisman winner to inaccurate mid to long Jag. He can't be a bad as some point him out to be. His rhythm is off with the routes. And he needs to stop staring down his receivers...(**apparently some of Reich's plays only had 1 option to throw to***) I do think he's fixable, but to trade away a proven NFL #1 WR, the '25 first pick of the draft, etc... you'd think we were getting a much more nfl ready prospect. All that said, I'm praying he turns out salvageable and Canales, a better line, and quicker receivers will unlock something I saw a couple of times last season. Also makes me think, we're also getting a TE, RB, and WR between final cuts and the draft. They're going to give Bryce every possible avenue to win. That also takes away any excuse. If he looks the same or worse we move on. And they said he beat Dalton in camp? Ima give him the benefit of the doubt. That Green Bay game showed me he does have something to work with despite his size. Now I gotta go back to the Alabama footage. Iirc, looks like 2 totally different players.
  17. Just said in another thread, there is a reason we met with Trey Benson.
  18. Its possible they dont but I doubt 6 Qbs are going in the first. Top 2 candidates to be there at 33 are Nix and Penix. Penix will...At which point a team like Oakland at 44 or a team trying to jump infront of Oakland like the Steelers at 51 could net us a nice package. And thats just QB's. If one of top OTs fall into the 2nd then we might get offers from a team like Jax at 48. With Canales saying he's eager to show everybody how stubborn he could be with the run game it wouldn't shock me if Dan traded down and used one of the picks on a diff skill position. RB... would make sense to why we met with Trey Benson. The mission should be get as many picks in top 100 as possible and execute unless we're retooling and not rebuilding. We filled alot of holes but either way we still need more talent on the roster. I just hope our scouting department has done a thorough DD on our targets. No more DJ Johnson like picks.
  19. He's good. I actually underrated him..I don't know where he's projected but I'd take him in the 4th... For an earlier pick my vote would be either Legette, Coleman ...or.... Maybe even 2 of the 3
  20. If I'm taking my wishlist to a mock draft then per pff: 33: Keon Coleman (WR)... Speaks for itself. 39: Malachi Corley (WR)... Explosion 65: Van Pran (C).. Corbett insurance/skill set to become a starter. 101: Jeremiah Trotter Jr (LB)...Going off potential. Good bloodline 141: Audric Estime or Allen (RB).... The powerback we lack 142: Jahiem Bell or Jared Wiley(TE)... Keon, Estime and Wiley/Bell 4th qtr in the redzone... that's work. 240: Austin Reed (QB)...Get Canales around him and let him learn. Why not take a late flyer. Only one reach which is what we normally do anyway. And after that draft, the offense should be fixed. It's on Bryce at that point.
  21. Well if we're hell bent on adding another WR before the draft... there are still a few out there.. I.e... Allen Robinson, Boyd, Gallup, Renfrow, Gage, Mecole, Thomas, Claypool, OBJ, Valdez-Scantling, Campbell, etc... Anyone of which would be an improvement over rookie Mingo. He should have sat for a few...I knew Mingo would take awhile when we was drafted but damn he was disappointing.
  22. Chinn for a year lol Burns CMC..somewhat DJ Moore Pretty much everyone we traded or let walk. Barno's a 9+ iirc... but I get your point. The last OT I remember seeing a 9+ on was Greg Little. We all know how that turned out... Bright side is, this guy is already proven(to an extent). Gives BC some competition and improves our depth.
