Man lemme tell you. That 2016 super bowl destroyed me. It was 2 months after my brother died and the panthers had been helping me out so much that season. That loss broke my heart I broke down crying. Still I’m forever grateful for the Panthers and will be a fan for life because i always have that connection with my brother.

So I have a sport injury but it wasn’t caused by a sport. I fell in a shower about 8 years ago and fell awkwardly on my arm and shoulder and because of that caused multiple different injuries, one of them being a bit of a special injury. I suffered a grade 4 AC joint sprain, which is significantly rare. Apparently it usually happens in football and requires a catastrophic impact. It was rare enough I had to go a handful of different doctors before they finally figured out what it was. Anyways, I’ve had surgery on it and the other issues, and yet, every time the pressure changes or temperature drops, I can feel the ache and pain all through my upper shoulder, collarbone, and down my arm. It’s rough. I know it wasn’t caused by a sport, but my doctor told me he had only seen one other like mine in the last 25 years and it had been caused by a football play.

Yeah I wish I could say mine was caused by a sport, but in reality all my issues stem from a fall in a freaking shower. It was so awkward how I fell that it tore up my ac joint in my shoulder, tore my labrum, and yanked my ulnar nerve out of its slot. At this point just give me a vibranium arm and be done with it.

I also had surgery on my right labrum and pretty sure I’ve retorn it. Some of the worst pain I’ve ever had. I’ve also had a surgery on my ac joint in the same shoulder and my right elbow and compared to this they were nothing. Torn labrums are no joke, pro athlete or not

I will say this, if the man doesn’t end up winning the starting job at some point, it won’t be because a lack of determination and motivation. If he can live up to his potential, oh man that makes me super excited for the future.

Man FUG Fentanyl. A kid I was friends with in High School and his girlfriend died because of it. It was one of those gut punches. I never approved of the path he went down , but the manner in which it happened was terrible. The dealer he got it from switched the real stuff out with the fentanyl so they could sell the real stuff again.

So it’s not enough to be the laughing stock of one league, so now we are trying to be the laughing stock of two leagues? Big oof.

Last year it was on the 5th or 6th of August I believe as I got married on July 31st and we went to the fanfest on the back end of that week.

Best case scenario we have a franchise quarterback. Worst case scenario, we get a too 5 pick next year and draft our franchise qb and fire Rhule.
