He did have one pretty bad drop on a deep ball that I saw though.
-
He's definitely looking at guys that might fall. Most of the 1st round guys he has brought in are considered to be mid 1st rounders and it's similar with him bringing in some early 2nd round types. It's much harder to judge with the late round guys but there has been a pretty clear pattern for the types of early round prospects he brings in.

That's actually a pretty amazing stat.

I really like Agholor. He's basically Jeremy Maclin but is getting overlooked due to a deep WR class. I think he'd be a 1st rounder in many other drafts. He doesn't have the elite measurables but he is incredibly well rounded. I'd be thrilled if we can get him in the 2nd round.

If Al Davis was still alive he would be a top 5 pick

Star and Kk's issues were easily corrected with a rotation at DT that keeps them fresh. OL don't get rotated. They play the entire game.

I'm not a big Peat fan. He gets fatigued really easily and is inconsistent. I also worry about drafting Stanford OL. Recently they've all been disappointments relative to their projections in the NFL after looking like studs in Stanfords power attack. That said I'd still take Peat over Perriman. He's a boom or bust prospect. I'd prefer a dependable, high floor guy if we go WR in the 1st.

Those Philly trades are incredibly unrealistic. You can't get a 1st rounder this year by only giving up a 1st next year. A 2nd or 3rd would have to be thrown in there in each of them.
-
Probably the same or a little more. He said he wanted to go back to the Midwest though. From Michigan and played in college at Illinois.

Counterpoint: Decoud and Cason He ain't wrong though. Playing behind our front 7 will make you look better than pretty much anywhere else.
-
I'd probably just rather draft someone. Below average slot corner at best.

$50k however that amount his is workout bonus so assuming he doesn't get cut until training camp and he gets the bonus by attending offseason workouts then it will actually be $0 since it will have been paid to him prior to him getting cut. He'll be on the cap for $1.15M regardless.
-
We take on his existing contract. He has 1 year left at $1.042M on his rookie deal.
-
$1M, non-guaranteed. Can cut him at anytime with no cap ramifications and he will take up like $600k more cap room than a UDFA. No risk signing. No reason to dislike the pickup for me. He's not very good but he was rated higher than Bell, Chandler and Oher by PFF last year.

I'd definitely still laugh, but them losing their 1st rounder for this would be criminal. That's ridiculous.

There is pretty much nothing left at CB in free agency now. We pretty much need to draft a CB now. I think a trade up for a CB Gettleman sees as good value is likely. Similar to what he did to get Bene. Although I'd bet he does so in the 3rd or 4th this year.

Supposedly he is in the same situation as Crabtree. They are getting plenty of attention but are asking for way more than they are worth. The guy I'm most surprised about is Brandon Spikes. I know he is a 2 down run stuffing MLB only, but he is really damn good at that. There's got to be somewhere in the league that he fits, but I haven't seen a peep about him.
-
That's the case with pretty much all OT's though. It is extremely rare that a rookie tackle starts and is anything more than below average. Those that are that good and polished go in the top 5.

Been in the NFL for three years and has been suspended in every single year. It's actually pretty impressive. 4 for "adderall" in 2012, 4 for weed in 2013, 6 for weed in 2014. Also arrested for missing child support payments. There is zero doubt he is good enough to be a starter in the NFL, but yeah he is a damn dumbass. I think there was some stuff in college too while he was at Florida. He was with NYG while Gettleman was there so I'm sure he is familiar with his exploits.
-
He's got a bunch of off the field stuff. Arrests, 1 strike from a season suspension for drugs, etc. He's ridiculously talented but he's a the type guy you sign as a last resort in September if your starter goes down and pray he doesn't do anything stupid.

They have enough cap room to match basically anything too so no team will even bother trying.

Quote the wrong post? Anyway I was saying that basing the drop rate percentage stat on catchable balls rather than on targets was more accurate. I'm not familiar with sporting charts so if that's how they do it then that's just as accurate as PFF would be. I was going off the 8/95 calculation Nick had.
-
PFF does things differently. Drop rate is their own stat and is based on catchable balls which makes it more accurate.
