  1. WTF KB? Getting weight wrong? I expected better from you. ;P
  2. I'm 7 and it's Christmas morning all over again. What a wonderful world.
  3. Already All Pro, already follow on Twitter... ...as for Luke adoration, I think he is the best MLB in the game right now AND has the potential to be the best ever. I'm no fan of hyperbole, but he is 24, DROY, DPOY, runner up last year and should only get better. He's the best player on the team (in Madden) and I prefer Defense to Offense. My previous favorite player ever on the Panthers was Dan Morgan. Dude had 25 tackles in the SB! Luke has surpassed him in every way. He's strong, tough, fast, smart...a tackling machine. After extensive research, I have found out his true identity and his true purpose: http://terminator.wikia.com/wiki/T-Infinity The T-Infinity Temporal Terminator (known as Luke Kuechly) is created by Skynet. Its purpose is to make sure the timelines don't get out of balance (and ensure the dominance of the American Football Team the Carolina Panthers). By far, it seems there is only one prototype created by Skynet and sent to "correct" the timeline...Luke Kuechly. Luke is built with onboard time displacement equipment, making it possible to relocate itself in time. It is able to trans-locate direct hits from a block and not be delayed. However, an indirect hit does weaken it but only enough to allow for an assisted tackle. [1] A technology similar to the Series X endoskeleton (also known as Thomas Davis Sr) has been applied in the T-Infinity, making it capable of storing various onboard coverage skills and blitz parameters while maintaining a superior "ball hawking" skillset resulting in numerous interceptions and fumbles. A very rare computer simulated photo of the T-Infinity has been rendered by the few vanquished souls who have had the wherewithal to recollect their brief and terrifying encounters. What follows is the only know image in it's existence (if encountered on or off the field of play - DO NOT APPROACH and retreat immediately):
  4. In Philly's diagram the Tight End is labeled as Y and the slot receiver is labeled as F. XYZ are the typical annotations and you can learn more about it than you ever wanted right here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wide_receiver While the general fan base and most commentators use the generic term wide receiver for all such players, specific names exist for most receiver positions: Split end (X or SE): A receiver on the line of scrimmage, necessary to meet the rule requiring seven such players at snap. Where applicable, this receiver is on the opposite side of the tight end. The split end is farthest from center on his side of the field.[5]Flanker (Z or FL or 6 back): A receiver lining up behind the line of scrimmage. Frequently the team's featured receiver, the flanker uses the initial buffer between himself and a defender to avoid jamming, legal contact within five yards of the line of scrimmage. The flanker is generally on the same side of the formation as a tight end. As with the split end, this receiver is the farthest player from the center on his side of the field. The flanker is probably lined up just like a split end except that he is just behind the line of scrimmage, being in the backfield and not on the line.[6]Slot receiver (Y or SL): A less-formal name given to receivers in addition to split ends and flankers (for example, tight ends who line up wide). These receivers line up between the split end/flanker and the linemen. If aligned with a flanker, the slot receiver is usually on the line of scrimmage, and if with a split end, off the line of scrimmage. As with the flanker position, a featured receiver often takes a slot position with a split end to avoid jamming.[6]Slot back: A receiver lining up in the offensive back field. Canadian and arena football allow them to take a running start at the line. They are usually larger players as they need to make catches over the middle. In American football slot backs are typically used in flexbone or other triple option offenses while Canadian football uses them in almost all formations.
  5. Nice post @PhillyB . I think the football is strong with this one. I particularly liked the Gilgamesh references as it brought me back to being a kid when I read this: But I don't recall seeing any cybernetic ninjas in your post so maybe they are different stories. I don't remember much about those comics but I do remember them being epic and awesome!
  6. I'm gonna go through each game, do the analysis and give my prediction: (I do not know why LilSmitty's video is at the end of this) @ Jags - W Texans - W Saints - W @ Bucs - W @ Seahawks - W Eagles - W Colts - W Packers - W @ Titans - W Redskins - W @ Cowboys - W @ Saints - W Falcons - W @ Giants - W @ Falcons - W Bucs - W Hmmm...I guess we are the first team to go 19-0 in a season. Undefeated SB champs. Who knew? #KeepPounding
  7. Nice! I feel like I was just gifted 24 hours. I thought cuts had to be mad by Sunday not Saturday. Nice way to start the morning. there are some tough decisions coming and the final roster should be a pretty solid 53. I don't envy the personnel decisions coming even if I do envy the paychecks of the people making those decisions.
  8. Great job! That is some stellar work. Shared on Twitter. Gonna get national notice I should think. also that TopCat is gorgeous. Seriously.
  9. I'm pulling for Miley. I hope he balls out tomorrow.
  10. I'm just marking this whole forum as "read" because the repeat of various themes on the sky is falling is redundant.
  11. This offense has always been a run first offense. While the loss of KB certainly hurts, the depth at RB, the stability of the OL and the depth of possession receivers combined with 88s constant presence and Cam's super powers allows this team to poke and plod it's way to wins. In fact, the way this team is built, dominating defense and ball control offense is exactly the make up of a Championship winning team. Football has changed in a way. The mantra used to be defense wins championships. Well offenses have adjusted to the pass first mentality. Now is exactly the right time for the Panthers to flip the script to a tried and true method that current defenses are largely ill equipped to handle. And as always Cam is the wildcard that can be purely magical. For those with no faith in the coaching staff, take heart that this team can potentially out execute the opponent. Think San Antonio Spurs. Not sexy...but a winning formula in the playoffs. Tried and true. #KeepPounding aren't just words.
  12. Why don't they just restart from an earlier save game?
  13. In my experience as a government worker that is in no way connected to the medical field, I think the opposite is true. When there is a complete tear it's pretty obvious to the guy examining the patient. Otherwise it's an "I don't know...let's get the MRI" type injury. So in this case no news is better news. At least according to my wealth of experience on subjects other than this one...in any way.
  14. Mayo looked stout against the run and awful in coverage. Didn't Miley get a sack? I'm pulling for that kid.
  15. I thought AJ Klein played poorly. He seemed to be constantly over pursuing or filling the wrong gap. It could be me though. He could've been in the right spot. Just didn't seem it to me.
  16. @Jeremy Igo when you post these with the link to the full article is there more at the article? I'm asking because some people may just take what's in the thread as the full article. I know I could spend less time finding out by clicking on it but I'm asking so others can see the answer.
  17. Does anyone else find it strange when players are asked about who is the fastest on the team Byrd isn't even mentioned? I read somewhere yesterday that Ginn is the unquestioned fastest guy with Brown and Colin Jones right behind him. A few players were asked and I never read Byrd's name. Curious is all.
  18. According to David Newton...the answer at RDE is Charles Johnson.
  19. This just in...rookie absorbing playbook like a sponge. In other camp activity every year... Sorry couldn't resist because it's a quote from that hilarious video. http://youtu.be/Od1CiMyjd1Q
  20. Skynet was originally activated by the military to control the national arsenal on August 4, 1997, and it began to learn at a geometric rate. At 2:14 a.m., EDT, on August 29, it gained artificial consciousness, and the panicking operators, realizing the full-extent of its capabilities, tried to deactivate it. It later, in 2008, evolved into the Huddle. With it's final evolution resulting in a dark theme in 2015...for the All Pro operating system.
  21. Well played Beatles reference. Well played.
  22. Well at least whatever reps he might've gotten in camp will be spread to guys that can actually contribute. Looks like Williams has a better chance of developing sooner.
