Meh...pointy elbows. Seriously though this acquisition is at the perfect time. He's excited, the team seems excited and we certainly are excited. We get a tough divisional opponent and then a little break. Things are set up as best they can for SEA with the thought that Luke should be back by then and the little injuries get some time to heal up. If he makes some big plays on Sunday...forget it. I'll welcome that Huddle meltdown/love fest. In fact I look forward to it.

Is Ealy better suited as a LDE? Could this CJ injury push Ealy to that side while Allen takes over the RDE?

Official Texans at Panthers Gameday Thread
Moorgan replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
That's awesome! Enjoy the day brother. Prediction: Panthers 24-0 Our defense shows out with a humiliating display on the Texans. To be sure, JJ Watt gets his. But CAP gashes them and gets his first 2 TDs of his career. One passing and one rushing. Olsen gets the 3rd TD and Gano knocks in a short FG after JNo gets another INT in the red zone but we can't get it in. Panthers win in a dominating performance 24-0. -
An Hour with Josh Norman and Bene Benwikere

The tests I've taken before every deployment weren't more than 30-45 minutes I'd say. I've never taken one that lasted hours. Perhaps the VA has a different test? The one that the active military gave me was pretty simple and straight forward. I think we had to take it again when we came back but that might've only been if something happened. I don't remember taking the test before 2008...so it might've come out around then (or at lest put into practice then). I've deployed 3 times since 2008 and I think the test has remained the same for each time. -

Meant to put this here instead: That computer test for the concussion protocol sounds like the same test that's used for soldiers before we go overseas. It establishes a baseline for your reaction time and quick memory tests. If a Traumatic Brain Injury event occurs then you take the test again to establish how you compare. It's a basic test. Kind of interesting. Makes sense that they use it for the NFL. -
I posted this in another thread but might be more appropriate here, arguably I shouldn't have posted it all much less reposted but whatever: With Olsen talking about the difficulty of blocking Watt and the team needing him down the field to make plays. What about the idea of utilizing Swole as a "spy" on Watt? Wherever Watt lines up...Swole lines up. If he lines up as a DT, Swole lines up as shallow back on that side. No matter what Watt is always doubled and Swole is a physical beast to somewhat lessen the physicality that Watt brings. Sure it makes it 10 on 11 if you dedicate a blocker for watt right? But the defense is already at a disadvantage because of having to spy Cam. This simply makes it even ground. Plus the occasional time to have Swole actually engage and the swing out for the screen. I probably shouldn't think out loud in the main forum huh?

Wow. Nice D.

What? They can get a cure after they play us...a temporary cure that lasts until the next game.

II always want them to get face cancer so even children in the street run from them in horror and their own families are repulsed by their presence but I might be a dick.

what is this "coordinator" you speak of?

Atlanta actually looks pretty good. There are a few plays that have been blown up. Hopefully the wheels fall off soon.
