Fantastic work! It truly is the story of a hero's journey. One who the audience was rooting for all along and pointing out the naysayers and doubters along the way. My only disagreement is in number 3. I don't think the magic was Shula. I think the magic was Norman. The hero had made some good strides at that point and was about to face a lesser opponent with gaining confidence. We were 2-0 and the saints had a terrible defense and a backup generator commercial at QB. But in our haughtiness, the backup did shine and we were reeling. The true magic was caught in the end zone by a CB that celebrated too much and fought the leader of the team in camp. But magic happened and the hero escaped with the win...and better for it.

X's and O's kinda show a blowout. They have their storylines and so do we. But from a football perspective, everything seems to stack up against Denver. Now obviously they have to play the game but I don't see our players being anything other than laser focused come game day. I also expect them to be very loose tonight at media day. Letting their personality shine. All signs point to a very enjoyable game for us Panthers fans. Panthers 34-17. We do turn the ball over once or twice but it will be inconsequential.

Damn! @KB_fan doing fan base stat break downs now. Awesome.

I think I've seen two here this week and both have been pretty knowledgeable and respectful. I have family out in Phoenix and there isn't a huge passionate fan base. As for the field and weather conditions, that is what home field advantage looks like, along with the crowd. Camthers just doesn't rise to the level of anything more than...meh.

Come to Tin Roof in Powerplant Live on Sunday and watch the game with us. There are about 25 or so of us who watch...Charm City Riot. If I don't win tickets from this thread I'll be there at 1100 on Sunday. Obviously if you don't win this. -

Huddle Contest: Tickets and Pregame Field Passes

Hmmmm. I could make this work. Because of Martin Luther King, I have Monday off. I could drive down and stay for the weekend. This is the most epic season in this team's history and I've never been more involved. From meeting Josh and the Huddle at the draft party and meeting Cam, DA and Joe Webb a few weeks ago...each time driving down from Baltimore...I think going to see the game would be on the epic level. A fitting cap for my personal interaction this season. Going to watch the superbowl is just too damned expensive. This would be perfect to watch the Seahawks get manhandled and embarrassed. Being able to get the Charm City Riot to go from me to an actual chapter has been an awesome accomplishment that I'm proud to have started and helped create. But they would understand me not going to watch the game with them and instead going down to see it in person. Yeah my love for the Panthers has already paid off, in so many ways, this year but going to the game...might just be...the best. -
What Seahawks Fans Are Saying - Playoff Edition

JStew had 78 yards. Yes. But Cam had 30. The zone read is them working in tandem. Last year in the playoffs, which we all know we lost, JStew had 70 and Cam had 37. Very similar numbers. The difference being, while you guys like to claim that your team is so much better than when we played last, the same applies to us. The last time that JStew played this year he got 75 yards. Now the immediate reaction might be...that's right in line with the other games so how is that better? Good question...it was on 10 carries. Think about that. I'll wait. JStew is a beast and is from the area up there in college. You guys should be aware...afraid. The rapport that he and Cam have in read option is otherworldly and has only gotten better since we last played. There is no logical reason to think that this tandem won't be dominant in the upcoming game. Combine that with your lack of a running game and I don't see how this game isn't a blowout. But I guess we'll see. -
Josh Norman talks playoffs, receivers, and the future

Great podcast! The fact that he can feel the love of this locker room is part of what makes this team special. it ties directly into the military theme this season has taken. I've decided to write my story about this after the season ends. So special in so many ways. Josh is great. Awesome to hear you and Sammi talk to him. It's been too long. Love that he loves the grind. The right way to do things. -

Blah blah blah but you are dead on about Jimi Hendrix, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Dave Mathews, Foo Fighters, Heart and don't forget Bruce Lee and a volcano. That's pretty bad ass. Oh and 31-13...Panthers -

This game will be close for the first half. After that, Carolina runs away with it. Literally. -
I have more respect for Allen Iverson than I do Isaiah. Maybe that's the drink talking but I hated Isaiah.
-
No pie for being a Detroit fan in the late 80s early 90s. I hated those cheap shot artists. Except Dumars. No problem with him. But Isaiah was like a megalomaniac out there...well I guess MJ was too. It was mostly Lambeer (sp?) that I hated. But Isaiah was not likable in any way other than he was good.
-
Last years was pretty exciting until the 4th quarter. At least it was for us. They were closing in to score and make it a wide open game...when it ended. But this years game in SEA was certainly thrilling. But both teams are very different from that game. We shall see.

A long time ago I said I would pie someone's first post...no matter what it said. Sigh. Pie for you. :/

Man, the way some of them are talking you'd think the Panthers have won the division 3 years in row...oh...yeah...that's right. While I do believe that the Bucs will be stiff competition in the future, that future doesn't include this coming Sunday. I think our guys will rebound solidly and get some rest for the next opponent. One thing the Bucs and Panthers do have in common though... ...neither will play a game in 2 weeks.

KK Short Is The Carolina Panthers Defensive MVP
Moorgan replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
I agree and I was saying this to friends this week. However, I think point 2 is invalid simply because it literally goes both ways. What I mean by that is that KK also benefits from Josh. If everyone is covered, then the QB holds onto the ball longer and thus KK gets the sack. The point is valid both ways in a symbiotic way. But I agree. KK has been a consistent force to be reckoned with all year. That high level consistency is invaluable. Thus MVP.
