It's not hilarious but it is a very solid comedy that is pretty dated but surely iconic. There are several parts that have lived long beyond the movie. Mind if we dance with your dates? Food fight! I agree. I have no problem with giving him a chance. And the media circus now amuses me more than annoys me. It only annoyed me when they spent so much effort trying to convince me he was a good QB. Thankfully most have reverses themselves.

And what The Golden Calf of Bristol became was a ratings boon. Tv and radio love him because he's such a ratings improvement. I have I stats to back that up but it is logical to me.

I haven't seen anyone comment that they hate him. That they don't like him as a QB in theNFL? Sure. But hate him? Everyone seemingly qualifies any criticism of him as a football player with how nice he is. So those that see all the criticism as an indictment on his religion, I think, WANT it to be about that. Because that plays into the narrative that they want to believe. I just don't see enough hate to justify A) that he is hated and that is because of his religion.

In my opinion, a superior athlete can win in HS, and sometimes in college but it's even harder in the pros. Also football is a massive team sport compared to say basketball. I believe The Golden Calf of Bristol was a superior athlete that maxed out his success in college and never developed into a professional QB. His mechanics, timing, accuracy, ability to read defenses all seemed terrible to me. That being said, could he improve? Sure. I don't hate him. I don't really care about him. I just think he's not a very good NFL QB.

Who was worse and hung around for years? I'm sure he's super nice but he is not a good NFL QB. He had a real nice and lucky run for a few games one year. He was a superior athlete in college. That ended when he left Florida. In my opinion.

I was listening to 610 the fan today (through radio app) and they were talking solely about that quote as if the clarifying comments or context didn't exist. Are they normally that completely brain dead? It was the 1700 hour on the ride home btw.

Chiefs Hosted OT Byron Bell For A Try Out Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that former Panthers OT Byron Bell tried out for the Kansas City Chiefs. This is the first reported interest in Bell since free agency got under way close to a month ago. Bell, 26, signed on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of New Mexico back in 2011. He finished out his rookie contract before receiving a second-round tender from the Panthers worth $2.187 million last year. In 2014, Bell appeared in 15 games for the Panthers and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 83 offensive tackle out of 84 qualifying players. ...ouch. But hopefully they sign him soon so he can factor in to next years comp picks as a positive for us.

A quick thought on leadership. You can't have too many good leaders. There is no confusion. It's not one guy or the other. 20 years in the army has taught me one thing if nothing else. Good leadership is invaluable. There is no confusion when you have multiple good leaders.
