    Sunk cost. A large chunk of the Huddle was so invested in Stroud over Bryce that breaking the all-time Panthers single game passing yard record means literally nothing because CJ Stroud didn't do it.

    Have the plays been called for him to do that, or does Canales clam up with limited gameplans against winning teams? ATL has a pretty high-dollar secondary and Bryce shredded them.

    If he wasn't he wouldn't be in the game right now. It was even more on display last year. The dude has been hammered into the dirt for much of his career but jogs it off every time. He's basically Darby Allin.

    Every Panthers era has the guy that the coach stubbornly plays despite the team being clearly and demonstrably worse when they're in the game. It used to be Sione Fua. This era is Chandler Zavala. We could sign 20 better guards off of practice squads right now.

    Proven winner QBs are almost never free agents unless it's a weird situation like Brady. QBs with the potential to take you to the Super Bowl aren't available to sign, you have to draft them. I don't follow college football but this offseason I'll watch some Youtube highlights and let you know who will be the best to sign.

    Very smart of Bryce to limit to 100 yards a game to save his longevity. With this production he could be our starting QB for 15, 20 more years.
