  1. I saw that when it happened. Thought it was the funniest thing I'd seen in a while. Had to call my wife into the living room so she could see it on instant replay.
  2. I meant to mention Chinn specifically as an example but just forgot in all that I did write. Glad you brought that up.
  3. I'm not arguing with you on this, but do we really know where we stand as far as players go? Are the majority of our players not as good as we would like to think they are, or is it that the coaching staff, with Rhule serving as Supreme Idiot, not able to put together a scheme that would put the players in the best position to succeed? Personally, I would like to see what a legitimate NFL head coach with a competent staff could do with this roster. And at this point, any coach with NFL experience would be better. If the players were excelling and we were winning games, then we would probably be singing Rhule's praises. But we're not. The vast majority want him fired and yesterday wouldn't have been soon enough. And while I hate seeing the Panthers loose, I really do want to see that dumbass gone. I had been a diehard fan from the day it was announced the Carolinas was getting a team. I used to agonize over a lose, but not so much any more. I've come to expect loses. It's almost entertaining to see what create ways they will find to loose now. So ask yourself this question...Do you want to see this team win or do you want to see Rhule gone? The more we lose the better chance the latter will have of taking place (although with Tepper, that might not be a guaranteed result.)
  4. You know? that does have a nice ring to it. Send Rhule Back to School Send Rhule Back to school
  5. They didn't even need to go for the TD, especially after the Browns had used a timeout or 2. All they needed was a 1st down which they could have gotten inside the 4 yard line. Then they could have run the clock down to kick a FG as time expired and won the game.
  6. I wouldn't expect that to happen. That means he'd be spending his own money to sponsor the stadium. Sorta negates the reason for doing a sponsorship.
  7. I've been using Ad Blocker Plus for years and haven't seen one of these ads yet.
  8. I've not heard that one before. I've seen the one about the count several times. But you could be right.
  9. interesting factoid about this scene. The look of terror on Alan Rickman's face is real. He was told the crew was going to drop him on the count of 3. They let go of him on 1.
  10. Collide isn't actually the correct word. When it starts running out of hydrogen, the sun will expand and most likely engulf the burnt cinder that used to be Earth.
  11. Even though I was pulling against the Cowboys, I was thinking what a dumbass play that was.
  12. It seems I remember Erving having to be attended to on the field, then coming out of the game for a few plays. But honestly can't remember if it was yesterday or a previous game.
  13. Did anyone else see the time in the 2nd Qtr. when Boger was signaling a 2nd down and then had to look at his fingers to make sure he had the right number of fingers up? I was like. Plus the number of times he incorrectly announced the result of penalties. There were 3 that I remember. In fact, I think one of those was on the 2nd down above when Carolina was called for holding and he announced half the distance to the goal, 2nd down. Actually, Dallas declined the penalty giving us 3rd and 13 but he didn't correct that. He just acted totally clueless today. But,then, I think that's normal for him.
  14. Went back and checked the 2015 roster and you are correct. Those are the only 2 left from that team. It was Shaq's rookie year.
  15. I was there, too. I for sure thought he was tackled. From my vantage point, all I could see was Houston jerseys. Then suddenly, there was Smitty running down the field. Even then, I thought it would be called back as I thought the refs would call him being down. Then they showed it on the jumbotron and I was thinking, how the hell did he get out of that? He gave everything every game. Loved Smitty.
  16. Yeah, that's what it looked like at first, but watching it full screen on my desktop I can see that he "patted" Brown on the back for their stellar play.
  17. I know, right? He didn't miss a kick, either. So, on second thought, you're probably right.
  18. He did look good in the pre-season game against us on that 44 yd FG. As I recall, it was straight down the middle. Plus he kicked an extra point. I was thinking then he would be better than Slye. I'd bring him in and give him a look, at least.
  19. We were down 14-0 at halftime but went down 17-0 early in the 3rd. Peete was so slow that by the time he dropped back, he was under pressure. And that was with a good line. Jake started the first drive of the second half and immediately, the offense looked faster. Jake would drop back in half the time Peete did. Jake led the comeback and did, indeed, hit Ricky Proehl on the endzone sideline on 4th down with :16 on the clock. Jacksonville did get the ball back but had a long FG partially blocked as time expired. And what made it more amazing, Delhomme did it while throwing 2 interceptions.
  20. That's what I thought, just ribbing you a little. But like I said, it works either way. He did scare the crap out of us on multiple occasions with his decisions. ETA: And scarred us a bit, too.
  21. Was the word highlighted a typo and supposed to be scarred? Or was that the word you intended? It works either way, just wanted to clarify.
