  1. Our oline has not been the 5 we gonna start. It's been fluid. We trying to evaluate the back ups and see where they fit. We played Chandler at RG A lot last game and I think he is better at LG. Has BC played if so I missed it? Corbett, Bozeman, Icky and Moton are the guys and Corbett is out still. The coach for the oline is stellar. He gonna put the best 5 out there, maybe they aren't all available or because we are evaluating the other guys we are seeing some other groupings. Michael Jordan is trash. If I see him on the field I know we phoning it in. Bozeman is rusty. New QB exchanges and protection off a bit. It will be fine. Icky might be better suited as a RT but he the guy right now. Let it work. Y'all think 5 series between two games makes a game? Ya gotta get in rhythm. Games are win and lost on more reps than that. Mingo is a beast. Miles is different than Chubba. Hell Blackshear needs those carries more than him. It will work it self out. Overreacting a bit?
  2. Yeah you right seems like a Pittsburg type of fan. Some of the loudest easily triggered bandwagon type fools out there. Waving the terrible towel like a toddler going through they terrible twos with they "blanky" I just don't want him. He can go be a Browns fan. I hear they got a really expensive predator type QB. I don't care what team he pulls for but all the "Motherfugger this and that bout my boys is silly" Bryce is going to kill it quietly and softly. Like the Fugees. I'm not worried. HAKUNA MATATA up in this bitcxh till the season goes for awhile And even then I'm gonna give it a bit to gel before I think the sky is falling. Chicken littles need they chicken heads chopped off and let the real barnyard kings speak. "COCK A DOODLE YOO" y'all
  3. TLDR. I did read it though. Fact is This was not the starters. Some these guys have already lost they spots. Other guys have shown something and are moving into those spots. Coaching staff is evaluating to make cuts and are holding back on the playcalling. It's basically scrimmage or practice. The poster seems to have a lot of conviction we trash, DONT WATCH. Jump off the train. We don't want you. I'm gonna pull for these guys that work hard and make the squad. I dare ya to tell Dion, Blackshear, Shi, Barno, Raequan Williams, Jammie, and Sam"MFing" Franklin Jr they just running around out there not earning they paycheck. Me myself I got excited to see DJ Johnson showing up on plays. Same with Shi and Blackshear playing hard when the game was not going our way. All Barno does is run at the QB at 4.3 speed that will work out eventually. WE will be fine. GO be a packer or COLTS fan. Jump on a bandwagon and fug off.
  4. I saw this thread coming as soon as he threw that TD. Nice moment. With game in the balance proceeded to fail miserably to get us into field goal range on a two minute drill. I will say in his defense we had the worst incarnation of our oline out there. Micheal Jordan has used up all his opportunities. I love Smitty doing the commentary. Jordan getting his lunch money taken. Got stood up there. Lol. Luton looks the part of a classic statuesque pocket QB. He stayed in the pocket with pressure and made a play or two. Corral didn't get a touchdown but him and Shi were clicking. After Shi flubbed on a play he stepped up his game later. If Corral or Luton ever see the field during the season it will be a BAD thing. Luton on practice squad and with new rules Corrall will likely get that 3rd spot.
  5. Elite. If the injuries don't hit. Horn and Donte staying healthy is of paramount importance. Usually scheme changes scare me. Transition takes time and often scheme specific players are lost in the process. I actually think most of our guys will thrive in the new system and the new additions are experienced in the 3-4. Chinn and Matos could be scheme change casualties. I hope not. Burns is going to blow up. Brown and Luvu are also going to evolve further and continue their ascension. Donte and Shaq will need younger eventual heirs to their spots but not in the immediate future. But they are good veterans much like Tuttle, Dion, and DeShawn. Eventually it would be great to find a young ILB, DE, and CB. Another draft from now and keeping Envero in the fold we will be that much closer to a top 3 defense.
  6. I hope it works out. Naturally gifted athletically but maybe a bit raw. I think Envero can mold him. I was not a huge fan of the pick though wanted a corner.
  7. All your guards belong to us. We have added so many guards and this guy seems like a draft bust.
  8. Shaq and Luvu backed up by combinations of KGH, Chinn, Dion and hopefully Brandon finally gets it. I like it. That's a fast ball hawking ILB crew. I also like the LaByron Ray pick up. I actually liked him out of college where he did pretty well. The scheme fit wasn't quite there then though. I thought he could play some DT and LE in the 4-3 we were running. All in all I'm loving the moves.
  9. Seems everyone is on the same page. Been thinking for years that Hunter fits but a trade is not likely and the money might not be right. We need to get Brown and Burns locked down and look to draft that guy on the opposite side. A combination of Haynes, YTG and the young guys should work till we have a lottery pick of a difference maker. Can't give up picks or tie up salary till we have established our identity. Hopefully we have found the answers at WR,RB and QB and can focus on defense in upcoming drafts. Along with Brown, Burns and Horn as the cornerstones on defense that would give us the foundation.
  10. Never wanted Punchable looking like he smells a fart face Payton. He is the enemy. The Saints with their bounty gate and Kamara show time after time they lack class. That starts with the HC. Then they wanted draft picks for the privilege of having this Dbag sully the reputation we as a franchise have worked to have. Nah. Better than Rhule yes, but I have always hated seeing Paytons smug face on my TV. I love Drew Brees. One of the few Saints players I respected.
  11. We have Sanders for a couple years and I am thinking he will be productive. In the next couple drafts we should target his eventual heir. The league is bipolar. Couple years ago FA running backs were getting big contracts and nobody was drafting RB's in the first. Now you had Gibbs and Robinson going high but Barkley/ Jacobs can't get extensions and Cook is sitting on his couch right now. We got the guy we wanted and no I don't think it was a gross overpay.
  12. Eagles have a decent stable there but Sanders is better all around than any of them. Penny and Swift are the best of the bunch. Sermon could be good but he is a rookie right? So his fiscal hit is nothing.
  13. This was a Jordan pick if I've ever seen one. You think the coaches have any say. If so it's very little.
  14. That's kinda my point all along. We needed glue/ role players and let one go. I also don't think he is destined for stardom or anything but would have enjoyed seeing him become that type of player for my Hornets not a rival.
  15. He also looked pretty good in the summer league game. Stroking the three ball like everyone said Miller could.
  16. I get that but surrounded by higher thought of guys at UNC with more raw talent he was the engine. It's done with now. He is a Hawk.
  17. You talking bout Miller? All those fouls and poor conditioning. Sounds like we need to red shirt Miller but we can't and wont we went all in because of fit in starting lineup. We could have brought Scoot along slowly by having him run the second team at PG but nope we all in on Melo, Bridges and Miller being the stars. We see how that works out.
  18. I'm worried enough for the both of us. I do think Miller can develop but it really depends on him. The coaching staff is not going to make it happen. He will get the minutes and play with our starters and honestly they are gonna have to carry him for awhile.
  19. So far not impressed. Watched a bit of the Lakers game today and we look lethargic. Lakers got some easy transition baskets and dunks. We seemed to have no teamwork or grit. That's bad. Can't be a finesse team that is sloppy. Or a bad shooting team that can't grind. Right now I see a sloppy, bad shooting team that doesn't hustle for rebounds or play defense very well. I know it's summer league. I see the logo on the court but we are lacking point blank. This summer league is a showcase for our developing players and recent draft picks and I'm not impressed.
  20. Yeah I don't get the hate. He has a NBA ready frame and is a decent distributer and shooter.
  21. Yep. He seems to been the contingency plan for passing on Scoot. Take Miller then a backup scoring type PG in the second instead of a scoring PG then a SG/ SF in the second. Miller and Smith over Scoot and Miller (Leonard) though.
  22. I just like Brady. I think he can be a solid role player in the league. We need players that just do their role and make other players better.
  23. My takes are still better than them. I actually talk bout the Hornets.
  24. Brady is a glue guy. Plays smart team ball. Without him on the court UNC fell apart. Know why? Cause it was a collection of talent with no glue. Much like the Hornets some talent but don't play cohesively.
