  1. Happy for him. His lack of usage was head-scratching. Almost like they just traded for him in an attempt to get a 2023 comp pick, and they just wanted to preserve his health. Speaking of which, can somebody enlighten me on what this means for 2023 comp picks, if anything?
  2. Then we have our first winning season in about half a decade and I have some hope for the future. And I'd totally be ready to eat crow about not wanting Garoppolo.
  3. It was Carnell. I actually become a fan of his (well, rooted for him) after he got hurt against us, tearing his patellar tendon. That was a knee injury I dealt with just a year earlier and I want to see someone come back and have a success career after that injury. Victor Cruz was another. That's my "cool story bro" moment of the day, I guess.
  4. @Admiral Ackbar, this was an extremely refreshing post. Thanks for sharing your story!
  5. If the Saints want their QB, they can give us No. 16, No. 19, and a mid to late rounder then. Still hoping this is all smoke & mirrors and we're going to just take the best OT available and finally shore that spot up.
  6. Despite bringing it home in 2017, that 'Nova game still stings. That was as tough loss as I've ever dealt with.
  7. Finals. Every time. If you're asking which is easier to swallow, it's being bounced early. But give me a finals appearance every time.
  8. I'm feeling an awful lot like Puff Johnson right now.
  9. I've been to enough events and conferences to know that this isn't anything out of the ordinary. Throwing a few back, shooting the poo, and chatting it out with other coaches is nothing concerning. And there's always a few that are a little bit 'extra'. Looks like Rhule is one of those guys. I wouldn't read into it.
  10. I really appreciate Fitterer's handling of most questions thrown his way. He usually doesn't just give an answer, but additional context, as well. He strikes me as somebody that will continue to learn from his mistakes and improve. Hopefully Rhule starts doing the same.
  11. If not as a support / gadget player, the other option would be to wait it out and if there's an injury in Training Camp / during the season of a contender, then that's where he'd like to fit, if they'll take him.
  12. Living in PA, I'm having a really hard time not buying tickets to the game on Sunday.
  13. I Love you all tonight. I'm flyin' high. What a game!
  14. It goes even deeper than this, however. Where is the pressure coming from? How quickly does it get to the QB? Is it after 2 seconds with the ball or 4? Is it due to the QB rolling out? You can really get in the weeds of this.
  15. I waited too long for a tweet to load. That must mean it's time for bed.
  16. From what I've seen, some nobody on Twitter said that and tagged Rap https://twitter.com/JaxxTalks/status/1506082351650152448?t=80eBt4A5DG93c6jboCY89A&s=19
  17. You could hate him for pursuing Watson as hard as he did, or you can hate him because of his actions leading to great players not wanting to come here, but as fans, we're united!
  18. Agreed. I would rather get a LT (if one of the top 3 are available) and go from there. It would be nice if we could score the C cut by the Browns. If we don't get a LT in Free Agency, then that's my #1 hope for the draft. If the LT's are gone, then I wouldn't be upset with Linderbaum at #6 if they did go that route / couldn't find a trade down partner.
  19. I don't want to hijack the thread anymore since I don't think we'll be in agreement on this, but appreciate the back-and-forth debate.
