  1. I'm hoping we draft 2 receivers with the first 3 picks now, and if we have to trade up for one so be it.
  2. The only reason I like Philly is cause he has good hands, but the guy isn't even fast, he's more quick than fast, Ginn still has iffy hands also I'm hoping we draft someone in the first round to fill that number 2 void
  3. For the most part are run defense was good considering teams ran the ball on us towards the end of games more than often after already being down by 2 scores. All I know is that the 5th best receiver in this class is better than the best safety, who ever it is. So it won't be considered reaching for a receiver with the first pick. Thiers no need to pick up a maxed out box safety that won't help us get better in a position of need.
  4. Your the one who brought up statistics in first place I'm hoping he's not available, all these Bama DB's peak in college
  5. Going by statistics we shouldn't even draft defense with the first pick
  6. The majority of games we lost was cause we got torched by the pass. That include the playoff game
  7. Why on earth would we need a box safety when our front 7 is good enough to stop the run without any support?
  8. Where did I ever said he was elite? The same team that are going after Crabtree is the same team going after Jennings.
  9. Well here's hoping he's even healthier this season. And I'm sure having Kaepernick as your QB has nothing do with it. Davis and Stevie Johnson both came off terrible seasons, theirs one common denominator among those 3.
  10. Where else am I going to tell him to look? you think theirs complete game tapes of him you can study on youtube? The fact still stands, those "16 plays" are better than any 16 plays Jennings or Cotchery have put together the last 2 seasons.
  11. Crabtree was getting thrown to by Kaepernick. (I should just it end it there) Go look up Crabtree highlights and compare them with Jennings and Cotchery's. If you can't see the difference might as well not respond.
  12. Oh please, If Crabtree signs tomorrow you would throw Jennings under the bus in a heartbeat. Jennings is 32 and has peaked already, he's a product of two HOF QB's Crabtree is still relatively young and Cam would be the best QB he has played with to date. He's also great at YAC something the panthers desperately need.
  13. Jennings has peaked already, he's a product of 2 HOF QB's. He went on to Minnesota bad mouthing Rodgers but did nothing. At best he's a slot receiver
  14. Does Jennings have anything in the tank left? If the Vikings who are as desperate for receivers as we are let him go, it can't be for no reason I was hoping for Crabtree but at this point I'll take anybody.
  15. WHAT? you have to be kidding me I clearly remember it was between Sheldon Richardson and Star as far as who we were going to draft. You mean less than 5% of huddlers wanted Kelvin. Almost every mock draft on NFL, ESPN, Fox sports, CBS, Bleacher Report has us picking a WR.
  16. So let me get this straight it was ALL coincidence that 70% of mock drafts in 2013 had us picking a DT and we ended drafting a DT, and it was ALL coincidence that 80% of all mock drafted had us picking a WR last year and we drafted a WR. Nothing to do with need?
  17. I might drink myself to sleep if that happens, knowing the sheep around here they would applause that pick like no tomorrow. I seriously think if we trade Cam tomorrow 60% of people on here would still consider Gettleman a genius and agree with the move.
  18. You should of seen last season, hardly anybody wanted Kelvin on this forum, but when we picked him all of a sudden it was a genius move by Gettleman.
  19. Maybe just maybe a need outweighs the BPA It's not a coincidence almost every mock draft had us picking a WR
  20. So Hurney also went by the BPA motto? And you show me where the plan was for Beason to get hurt and Luke takeover his position. Luke was drafted to play OLB
  21. We drafted Star which was a need, we drafted Benjamin who was a need. Almost every draft expert had us picking a DT in 2013 and WR in 2014. All I'm saying is we seem to draft for need more than often. We also can't get ahead of ourselves, our goal is to win the SB next season (isn't it?) we can't be thinking of what's going to happen in 2016. I want guys who can help reach our goal next season.
  22. Long term is for the mid round picks who are not ready to contribute right away.
  23. Actually he did, if I recall Davis was coming off another injury and they plugged in Luke at OLB until Beason got hurt
  24. Neither Gurley or any corner taken would contribute to extent of a WR or OT. Those guys would be fighting to get snaps
