Rivera still has a house in Charlotte and his hematologist is out of atrium.

I think he ends in LAC next season. feel like minter is going to be the guy who just crushes his interview. plus saleh can go anywhere. He’s not coming close to this dumpster fire.

Oh no not our good players on defense

So this has been one of my biggest concerns with Canales and it's the downside of having some young offensive guy who doesn't have full staff control. like what is the org chart for this decision? With canales, who does he know or has worked with that he can tap? He hasn't been in Seattle in 2 seasons and all those guys are gone anyway. He wasn't even that high up on the org chart in Seattle so it's unclear who he would have regularly interacted with. QB coaches generally aren't going to be in the split squad meetings, at least not regularly. Just glancing at the coaching staff, Clint Hurt jumps out. He was DC in 2022 and is currently the dline coach in Philadelphia, but that team is the brainchild of roseman and i'd be very hesitant to bring in someone who was allowed to walk from seattle and would be having a SUBSTANTIAL decline in talent here in Carolina. With Tampa, that defense is a shambles and fans want Bowles out. It's a very top heavy coaching staff too; Bowles is very involved so there isn't some bright up and comer, from what Bucs fans elsewhere have said. Someone from the Bills maybe? Morgan was last there in 2020. Who could he call? No one established is going to take that position for a few reasons. There very little talent on that side of the ball, so you're not getting the rockstar mercenaries to come here. They're probably going to struggle to bring in some hot up and comer, since anyone with ambition is going to see how Tepper handled evero's request to interview for other positions and not want to deal with that. That's a problem the team has created on its own and I don't know how to fix it until they have someone leave for a promotion, which is going to be difficult with how dogshit this franchise is. And then, any agent is going to tell their client that the Panthers let the whole defense eat poo heading into 2023 just to "give bryce weapons." they let two starters walk and traded away a third. who would want to come in to this? how are you going to build/retain talent? There's only a few logical possibilities from my perspective 1. Someone out of nowhere who just crushes their interview 2. Someone from a good defense promoted WAY earlier than they should be and you just hope for the best 3. Extend Evero. I know a lot of people hate this but I think it's going to be the best option. This is the problem with Canales as coach. I don't want to go into what I think about the offense in this post, today or as it projects, but it's just not going to be easy for him to assemble a staff, if he even has the power to do so. For all we know Morgan is handling all defensive positions and hires. unclear org charts are a hallmark sign of a poorly run organization. I dunno. i think it's lowkey the biggest problem on the team, even moreso than the QB position.

Chuba is the first player in a while that I consider “a panther.” Derek brown is close. im not really able to explain it better than that, but I feel like you guys understand. -
https://x.com/throwthedamball/status/1871591730874851329?s=46&t=JBd6ZXmGQ3LmWL-ineTnAA obviously PFF so grain of salt etc Top right: lots of separation, good yac/hands. bottom left: can’t get open, drops everything/does nothing with the ball just eyeballing it Thielen: top 15 ish % overall. @NAS not to call you out, just something we were discussing the other day. Thielen is having a fantastic year by rate. Coker: slightly below avg separation, above avg hands/yac XL: sucks Diontae Johnson: only thing more difficult than covering him is medicating him David Moore: not a bad piece, for what is ideally a number 4 receiver. also Christ philly win a Super Bowl already.

there've been like 3 opportunities to sell PSLs since the team came into the league and make any money off of them. good on the OP. -
this is my suspicion. there's something in his eyes in his interviews. you can just sorta tell he's not thinking the same way other people are.

You’d also almost have to make it a three team trade to send Bryce somewhere. we saw what Bryce’s handlers did when he got benched, planting rumors like he was trying to transfer to Oklahoma or something.
-
If that was an option absolutely but I can’t imagine they wouldn’t at least demand a sign and trade.
-
I’m sure you remember people on this very board calling cam newton a bust in 2012 and saying all the predraft criticism was right. Bryce will never even sniff cams 2012 production. Unreal how far this franchise has fallen that people are going to the mat for this mediocrity elemental.
-
What does this even mean? he looks better than the Spencer rattler and mason Rudolphs of the world?
-
He has failed. He’s a failure.
-
Four solo tackles. god things are dire.
-
What chance he’s getting is more than fair, seeing he’s basically the least productive qb in nfl history who’s been given this long a leash. the only player who did as poorly as him his first season in the modern era was Josh Rosen and he was immediately shipped out of town. Bryce was given an entirely new offensive line, an entire new coaching staff, they brought a first round wide receiver, they brought in a big young tight end, they tried to trade for another wr but he has schizophrenia. Nothing at all unfair had happens to Bryce. Do not say a “fair chance” about a guy who’s done so little and been given so much.
