Yes but if you only start counting during the last three games, which are coincidentally the best of his career, and extrapolate that out, you end up with a qb averaging 52/86 for 560 yards 3 TDs, 1 INT 17/28 186 yards a game, 1 TD, and an interception about every third game. Plus some random fumbles thrown in for fun basically his career averages

Committing to Bryce going into next season is way worse than mediocre. mediocrity would be aspirational.

Guess we’re just straight up inventing stats for Bryce now. Also if your stats says the fourth best qb over any stretch threw over 172 yards once, had 3 TDs and 1 INT that’s a problem with the stat, not a compliment for the qb.

i didn't know bryce beat them too?

A bar so low Bryce could trip over it It was similar to the one random good game he had last season. People are just using it as the new starting line to judge him because it fits what they want to happen. any qb, no matter how dogshit, can have one random good game. See Young, Bryce: 2023 The same people claiming Bryce has turned a corner now said that after Green Bay.

Chris Long: Bryce Young Went Toe To Toe With Patrick Mahomes

The exact same things were being said before and during his worst rookie season of all time. come on y’all

People are insanely overvaluing future firsts, especially considering the team he’d have gone to for planning purposes, for first round picks 2 and 3 drafts in the future they’re effectively one pick away from being 33rd overall. Can’t assume they’re going to be higher than that. and again, keeping burns helped the panthers have their most entertaining stretch since the first half of 2018, and were probably a freak broken arm to Jaycee horn from making the playoffs. Obviously I don’t think the panthers are at competitive down the stretch without burns.

Ja'Tavion Sanders avoids serious injury
electro's horse replied to ChuckWag78's topic in Carolina Panthers
Spine has some pretty remarkable compressive capacity, we just don’t like it when it’s from the neck down instead of the lumbar spine up. Every time you jump and land for example your spine has a little movement to it, just because of all the other muscles and bones with connections. When it happens from the cervical spine down, the body freaks out and shuts you down for a little bit to make sure you stop whatever fool thing it is you’re doing. Injuries occur when there’s lateral force or sheer. Sanders landed almost straight down on the crown of his skull. Lots of force but set up in the way the body is designed to handle. Luckily. its one of the reasons memorable spinal injuries sometimes looks insignificant. Force isn’t as important as angle. -
The hard truth about the panthers is they haven’t been worth supporting for most of their history. They’ve had 7 winning seasons since 1996 and aren’t going to have one this season either. nfl games have changed to cater to the super wealthy more and more, and a finance capitol vulture buying in is just the latest symptom of that. everything is more expensive and people are all doing worse generally and have been for quite some time. It’s ridiculous to question someone’s fandom when the entire nfl gameday experience is becoming more and more of a luxury. And especially when that current luxury is to watch a child play football and pretend we’re a serious franchise.

The defense was gutted to pay for the offense that couldn’t score 30. My assessment occurs in the proper context because I can keep two thoughts in my head at once the defense was exhausted in the 4th quarter against the best qb in the league, and that’s the defenses fault? Meanwhile the chiefs defense gave up a game tying ref assisted 48 drive after not giving up a first half touchdown and somehow that’s all because of Bryce’s play? Consistency is not a difficult concept.

And that’s probably keeping us from cardinals territory

The defense played great yesterday. If Bryce’s one TD pass is enough to win the game, than the defense shutting down Mahomes in the fourth and keeping it close all day is the same. people are willing to throw all the other players in offense and defense, and even fans not showing up, under the bus to prop up Bryce. Yesterday was a team effort.

Some Thoughts on Our Remaining Games

For me to go to a game and bring someone and sit in my seats it costs about 500 dollars just for the tickets. That’s before I drive two hours both ways, parking, etc. so I have to work 4-5 hours just to sit down. I can’t drink because I can’t risk my licenses, so I have to white knuckle it. and my schedule is set up three months in advance, so it’s a huge pain in my ass and the ass of other providers to schedule off a Sunday. and this is on top of all the other things I can’t do because I have to commit an entire day of the week to it. You and I have far different obligations, life situations, responsibilities, etc. you think not supporting David Tepper makes me a bad fan, but I think it makes you a mark. if you want to turn this into a contest about who’s gone to more home games for worse teams, I promise I beat you. Just at this point in my life there’s better things for me to spend my time and energy on than watching David Teppers wife’s vanity project in person. Cool you got to watch the worst team in NA sports lose again in person. I’m spending a week in Norway in February and redoing my kitchen. we’re not the same, buddy.

Panthers beat the cowboys, that’s it. wins at the end of the year will be against teams who all fired their head coaches during or after the year.
