well this is stupid UGA runs the ball fifty times a game, and he didn't play the second half for 75% of his time in college. horrifyingly he's not even the best tight end on the roster, but that's not a dig on him.

yeah, compared to what he was prior to rhule getting fired, I'd call that an immense improvement.

I mean there's something to be said for drafting the most athletic person you can and hoping for the best but not in the second. panthers need people that can play, especially in the 2nd/back of the 1st. they dont need someone to groom for multiple seasons to play a different position.

Alright, UGA fan here. darnell is a fuging monster. Like gronk lvls of cheating with what you could do with him against different packages. but he’s the insane physical freak who I’m afraid is never going to be healthy in the pros. he was CONSTANTLY dinged up at UGA. not necessarily bad enough to miss the game, but bad enough where he would just run block all game or something. he’s got Julio Jones syndrome where he’s SO athletic he’s like a Ferrari: yeah he’s dominant but it’s just spraying oil all over the road and it costs 10k to fix the alignment.

There were multiple groups trying to get the Panthers to Charlotte; Richardson won not because of the "professionalism of his presentation" or whatever stupid thing (do you think the other business leaders wouldn't have been?) but because he figured out a way to scam the city with PSLs, and other owners wanted to see if it would work. Just like he was later in his career, he was more than happy to screw over his own fans and for the betterment of the league owners (2010). the real shocker at the time was Jacksonville. That's the one where people were probably paid off.
