  1. Leaf also got addicted to opioids early in his career and given what we now know about the Chargers and their team doctors that shouldn't be surprising. He's a success story for fighting OUD. He was drafted into a terrible situation just like Bryce, but unlike him Leaf actually could have succeeded in the NFL. Bryce doesn't have that chance. I saw Leaf throw a 60 yard touchdown pass in the air while being dragged down from behind by a Panthers blitzer. Like getting pulled backwards to the ground and throwing a perfect bomb. One of the most impressive throws I have ever witnessed at BoA.
  2. Fitterer didn’t get that second chin from falling down in church. He was probably standing in the box because of the cirrhosis. If the dude sits down his liver will bulge.
  3. for a person living in reality, tepper doesn't have a choice. If he keeps Fit around after this season, and the horrific trades, then it's pretty clear who's actually pulling the strings. Fitt gives him plausible deniablity. But Tepper has created his own reality so who the fug knows what's going through his thumb shaped head.
  4. yeah i heard some of those stories as well. just a complete prick to people in front of their coworkers and colleagues.
  5. lmao that statement "should have let the stadium security handle the person in the seats who had the audacity to talk to me."
  6. Mingo was a second rounder in a lot of mocks, and compared favorably to guys like AJ and Metcalf and obviously came from the same program. Plus, the panthers really wanted Nolan smith there if he had fallen. They also wanted one of the two guards that went shortly before. I don’t think Mingo was a horrible reach, and I think it’s just how the draft shook out. the worst move besides Bryce was passing on Darnell Washington to move up for Johnson. Just sickening.
  7. Ickey blew one assignment horrifically, but I think there was confusion on that play or something because at the snap he immediately turned in like they were gonna run counter trap. obviously he should have noticed there was no one to his left, and obviously these are not mistakes you make in week 17, but I don’t think that was a blown assignment because he can’t play, just one because he didn’t know the play. Small consolation
  8. Sure the turf is killing our own players but think of that Jason Aldean concert before you criticize the (heroically) embattled owner.
  9. I’m sure all the appropriate parties have been contacted and compensated (blindingly)
  10. See? poo heads rushing to defend the incompetent billionaire because the obvious conclusion to all of this would require thoughts and realizations about the nature of society that might be…..uncomfortable. He didn’t even need K street to get you, Phann89. Do better.
  11. Just another way to think of this. None of us at our jobs could fug up to the degree tepper has and still have that job, or any job, or even be employed. like I’m working trauma. A panthers equivalent fugup in that environment has me unemployed annd unemployable and sued into the negative zone at best, and incarcerated at worst. Screwing up as bad as tepper has with the panthers is negligent homicide. Or just like a tenth of how shitty he is. The Bryce trade equivalent gets me fired. The rock hill debacle gets me fired. if you there a drink at someone in any corporate environment you’d be fired and escorted by security to your car before the ice on the carpet had melted. all he’s doing now is hiring some white shoe crisis management firm to handle this situation. They are going to release a statement apologizing on Friday afternoon, there’s going to be a token fine, there will be a press conference where they announce Nicole will be leading a mental health round table or something, and that’ll be it. A few weeks from now some hack journalist, probably that poo head who did the article about accountability behind the scenes, will release something about how actually tepper was the victim there because of the reaction. He’s feeling refreshed and ready to go. He’s recharged. And that’ll be enough for like 30% of the people paying attention to think “well actually the billionaire white guy is the victim here” because that’s how reactionary consent manufacturing works. then he’ll sign and trade Derrick Brown for a late second because Bryce Young Need Weapons
  12. okay. let me put it another way if he throws a drink at someone in the stands, he gets kicked out of the stadium. Because of his wealth, he is able to own a team and throw drinks at anyone he wants. ie, he's protected from consequences
  13. the best way to handle this would be banning him from attending games. the only thing he'll respond to is humiliation. just give him like a 6 game suspension, make him appeal it, and drop it to 3.
  14. This is not accurate. https://www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnas.1118373109 without going specifically into the research that contradicts this, Tepper's level of wealth basically inoculates him from negative consequences. He's also at the point he can surround himself with people that agree with him, and can even buy good press to construct soothing narratives. His wealth absolutely impacts his behaviors, just like other hyper rich lunatics like elon musk. At least tepper doesn't have a million dipshit sycophants
  15. Jaycee physically belongs in the nfl. So does Ickey. They at least look the part, different from players like Armanti Edwards or Bryce Young who suck AND don’t have the physical prereqs.
  16. Got banned from Twitter for calling David tepper white trash https://x.com/jeffkrisko/status/1741621474052764008?s=46&t=JBd6ZXmGQ3LmWL-ineTnAA
  17. In Florida? I think that makes them a common law spouse in Florida.
  18. I forgive you and everyone else should as well.
  19. Lol ”all he needs is the best situation in the nfl to succeed” Success in this case would be slightly below league average
  20. Bryce didn’t fall apart necessarily. In his defense he also didn’t play well against Chicago or Green Bay. this is his baseline against a league average defense.
