  1. Damn pregame production teams have got their marching orders on Bryce.
  2. I like to reverse the comparisons. could Bryce young survive in the mid 80s nfl? not career wise, like physically.
  3. Oh not at all. But that was definitely how he was presented and how he (at least partly) sold himself. you don’t just get to “hand it to the haters” and get to spend another first rounder.
  4. DC was hired to fix Bryce young. He has failed at that. he has shown nothing that indicates he should be able to draft a qb or hire his own DC. Who would he even hire? Who do you think Canales can call up and convince to take this job? What personal relationship can he leverage? Is there another evangelical masturbation enthusiast he can holler at
  5. Rams, chiefs, eagles, bengals, falcons and Dolphins all have qbs eating up a huge amount of the cap. The saints cap situation shouldn’t be compared to anything and requires like differential equations to figure out. it’s dishonest at best to compare them head to head. The panthers currently have what is supposed to be the best advantage in the NFL: a high first round qb on their rookie contract. The panthers have thrown huge money at two guards, reupped moton, have (somehow) spent real actual money on the center position, and were even gonna pay Thielen before his wife put her foot down. To put this another way, what is the defensive equivalent of signing hunt and Lewis? What is the offensive equivalent to letting Shaq, Jackson, Chinn, Luvu walk?
  6. It’s not just the panthers FO/coaches. Look at people on this board, or almost any of the talking heads. everyone has their different reasons for staying on this sinking ship. Whatever you speculate as the reason at the top of the Panthers organization probably has some truth in it. when the owner picked the qb, and he picked a coach to train the qb, and everyone on the team knows you can’t criticize the qb, here we are.
  7. The writer of this article is Jeff Howe, a patriots beat writer. he was probably just watching the game and was like “oh fug this dude sucks.”
  8. I think he struggles finding the ball when he’s not tracking it in the air. I suspect this might be because he can’t see Bryce in the pocket just like Bryce can’t see any of them. I also think all the WR are hearing footsteps on crossing routes and I don’t blame them at all.
  9. Lmao yeah wasn’t this the “tee hee a girl can make trades too” pick
  10. Geno Smith was a 10 year veteran when he finally had his breakout season with Canales as his….qb coach and passing game coordinator. Not his offensive coordinator. There’s no shortage of veteran qbs who finally had success in a good situation. baker mayfield, former rookie of the year, looked fine after he had a conversation with Sean McVay. The Bucs offense was even better in 2024 with Canales. regardless of what are reasonable expectations for Bryce, the whole qb whisperer thing has been nonsense from the go.
  11. or, and hear me out, maybe he's not in fact a QB whisperer
  12. oof But the 2025 reviews are not favorable, according to a coach, an executive and a scout who have studied Young’s performances this season. He has been downright “awful” at some points during the Panthers’ 1-3 start, according to one evaluator who was granted anonymity so he could speak openly about another team’s player. He’s looked uncomfortable in the pocket, struggled to see the field, lacked anticipation and failed to be consistently accurate. “I don’t think he’s the guy,” another evaluator said.
  13. it's always the ones you don't expect five years from now we're going to be reading stunned reactions from Adam Thielen. "I just thought he liked to collect children's shoes. Yeah it was weird but everyone has hobbies, ya know?"
  14. sources confirm many team mates were confused he spent most of the offseason after his rookie season watching youtube videos and shopping at Lidz.
  15. is bryce not in charge of the people he pays to send press junkets to all the reporters, lobby the gameday announcers, leak things to the press to make him look better? Bryce Young is a fuging operation and it has been since he got to Alabama. He's never said a single authentic thing and has spent almost all of 2025 pouting on the sideline and throwing his helmet and yelling at team mates. The more I think about the more I think his autistic little brother routine is as sincere as XL's accent.
  16. finally getting national attention. Nothing we don't already know, but pretty eye brow raising that even the paper of record is like "yeah uh this guy sucks." https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6673658/2025/09/30/qb-stock-report-bryce-young-shedeur-sanders-rankings/ There’s been added pressure to make the pick work, too. Stroud delivered an outstanding rookie season, while the Panthers fired head coach Frank Reich after his 11th game; general manager Scott Fitterer was fired after the season. Meanwhile, one of the picks the Panthers traded for Young wound up being the No. 1 selection in 2024, where Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels and Drake Maye were among the six first-round QBs available. So yeah, it’s understandable why the Panthers feel a sense of desperation to make it work with Young. It’s why they invested in the offensive line and used back-to-back first-round picks on wide receivers. It’s why they hired Canales, who has done nice work in the past with quarterbacks Geno Smith and Mayfield. Young should have enough runway to at least attempt to turn it around. Veteran Andy Dalton, who turns 38 next month, is the only other quarterback on the active roster, though Hendon Hooker is available on the practice squad. Suffice to say, the Panthers owe it to themselves to see it all the way through with Young. [...] But Young hasn’t kept it going. He’s completed only 60.4 percent of his passes for 753 yards, five touchdowns and three picks this season while also losing a couple of fumbles. Among qualified passers, Young ranks 30th in EPA/dropback, ahead of only Titans rookie Cam Ward, Browns veteran Joe Flacco and Bengals backup Jake Browning. At this point, the Panthers would be all but declaring their intentions to split with Young if they benched him again. If it does reach that point, it’s also likely the Panthers would be barreling toward their eighth consecutive season with a losing record. And since owner David Tepper bought the team in 2018, he’s never employed a head coach for three full seasons, which effectively puts Canales on the clock. This, of course, is the type of turnover that keeps organizations in constant peril. It may also lead to the breaking point that opens the door for Young to find a fresh start with another team.
  17. the rumors of "bryce has tons of trade offers" after getting benched is peak SEC bullshit, and it even came from the beat writer agents leak to. It's the kind of poo stirring designed to make insecure coaches and narcissist owners second guess themselves for fear of missing out on a QB AGAIN. Once the decision is made a ton of knives are going to come out about Bryce from the Panthers end; that's just Tepper's way. I promise the darling of Alabama and future Dancing with the Stars contestant isn't going to just take it.
  18. There’s no fuging way You’d think Bryce would be smart enough to say the right things about competition and excited to earn the spot blah blah blah, but when he was benched last year his camp started feeding rumors to Russini that teams wanted to trade for him. He's a messy little entitled bitch and he’ll go down kicking and screaming for sure.
  19. why is anyone holding on to this "change of scenery" bullshith with bryce just say he can't play no one was saying The Golden Calf of Bristol needed a change of scenery; he just got invited to Patriots camp as a fug you to reporters then faded away.
  20. if a charlotte observer writer is now criticizing bryce and canales, as tepid as the criticism is, that's an ominous sign.
  21. Last refuge of someone who’s wrong on the internet. “Just wait until he leaves and gets better and THEN I’ll be right.” then they just kinda slink away and never bring it up again. and as someone who’s almost never wrong about the panthers, that’s the most frustrating part. Someone who had been demonstrably wrong and irritating for years will simply vanish and rereg a month later and find something else to hang their online persona on. There’s no resolution, there’s no catharsis barely even get satisfaction anymore. Oh well, posting for the love of the game I suppose.
  22. So many of them were registered at the end of 2022. I guarantee Bryce has a brand management company working for him with a bunch of sock puppet twitter accounts spamming ai hype slop. September 2022 (the date I most often see) would have been when he started trying to campaign for another heisman even tho he wasn’t playing nearly as well as he had the year before.
