  1. I am literally sub replacement lvl play for 26 mil is malpractice. Kirk cousins is effectively 1 year 20 mil and this team wins the south with him at qb. And actually wins it; doesn’t moon walk in on tie breakers.
  2. Dan Morgan: well we tried to trade up for a guy and failed, and at that point we were all pretty tired and kinda hungry if we’re being honest and wanted to beat the rush to Primanti brothers. That place is fine, by the way.
  3. Wow I can’t believe the panthers tried to trade up, failed, but still got the guy they wanted to trade up for. I wonder if anyone else has ever said that next you’ll tell me they had Hunter and Brazzell graded as first rounders.
  4. It wasn’t the secondary so much as it was the linebackers. Bryce’s best games came against teams with bad/injured linebacking corps. The falcons were starting people off the street in Atlanta. i don’t know the name of the linebacker Bryce juked into the negative zone during the playoff game but i don’t think he deserves a name, tbh that was pathetic Now I wish I could explain to you the moves the rams made to address these issues but their draft especially is beyond the understanding of a simple fan like myself. Maybe the missing piece really was a qb who was benched during his final year at Alabama.
  5. If Bryce is a check down on 4th and ten then I’m throwing it.
  6. Bryce Young - worst drafted qb over three seasons in the modern era Jonathan Mingo - bust. 1 catch in 2025. Trade to Dallas was so bad it’d count as elder abuse in certain states Chandler Zavala - still on the team at least. Jammie Robinson - Currently secondary depth on a team Bryce threw for over 400 yards against. point being that the “experts” graded the panthers draft in 2023 as generally a B+ ish, but looking back it was one of the worst in team history. Don’t get caught up in evaluating, ranking, draft boards etc. time is the only thing that can judge a draft.
  7. Trevin Wallace is the slowest in game linebacker I’ve ever seen play for the panthers
  8. A physically large defensive tackle who dominated against physically inferior opponents? Congrats we’ve got another Vernon butler. Ceiling is a rotational DT for the bills.
  9. Yeah auburn is in the toilet. I don’t mind him leaving there so much as going to Orlando to play for the 2024 version of Gus Malzahn. when malzahn left UCF, if it was really about the (offensive) coach he could have followed him to Florida state and played actual competition. Instead he stayed in the big 12 and I could not care less about what he did in that schedule against that caliber of offensive lineman. I didn’t follow the draft this year, I’m too busy with work and buying a new house, and I don’t follow big 12 football as a rule. Maybe he jumped off the charts with the scouts and coaches. But the only requirement to play offensive line in the big 12 is being able to get back onto your feet quickly and block for two seconds and do it 60 times a game.
  10. So he needs to learn to catch, run routes, and be big enough to play in the nfl. Got it
  11. Because a.) the panthers drafted him and this is a panthers forum where we talk about panthers players b.) he transferred another time after malzahn left ufc and c.) he didn’t follow malzahn to FSU and d.) he stayed in a baby soft conference This is all relevant information about a player the team just drafted.
  12. What are you talking about selective quoting? I quoted what he actually said and what was relevant, not the AI generated subtext for low information fans. I guess I didn’t post the part about him claiming he was always going to be a war eagle. Thank you for adding this much needed context.
  13. Oof https://x.com/trappanthers/status/2047800343723938239?s=46
  14. “The reason I chose to leave auburn because we got treated like we wasn’t good enough and like dogs.” https://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/news/college-football/lee-hunter-former-auburn-dl-shares-details-about-what-led-him-to-leave-the-plains/#:~:text=Lee Hunter recently transferred from Auburn to,defensive lineman shared details of why he
  15. Hunter left auburn for ucf because he didn’t make the roster his freshman season and didn’t like the head coach. he left UCF for Texas tech because he didn’t like the coaches at UCF, and NIL money. thats ominous.
  16. The list of WR Tennessee has sent to the nfl under heupel is grim. and he’s a small school transfer to boot.
  17. From my best friend who is a die hard UGA fan who follows the team religiously. He’s a 6’7” baby. He’s an old faithful. Always ready to play even with little nagging injuries and performs well through them too. I like it but also happy the lions got Miller
  18. offensive line specifically doesn’t matter that much because you need to get bigger to play at the main schools and people aren’t dropping huge amounts of money on an 18 year old who’s going to start and if you’re a high end prospect you’re not going to UNC for 500k instead of Alabama. and there’s only so many spots with nfl caliber staffs to train up o line talent. And then there’s stuff like the big 12 playing a style of football that doesn’t translate at all to the nfl and high end prospects avoiding it like the plague, money be damned. I cant think of an instance UGA has lost an offensive lineman to a school because they could pay him more or he wanted to start early, but I don’t really follow recruiting that closely anymore. I mean Georgias problem last year was the qb, not offensive or defensive line depth. And Georgia qb problems is just a weird quirk with Kirby. the main player UGA has lost to NIL money is Carson Beck and good riddance
