  1. It translates when he’s blocking. Having good blocking on the boundary is imperative when half the qbs passes are behind the LOS It’s just not what you want from someone you traded back into the first round for.
  2. It’d be trivial to craft some contract with a dummy year or restructure or designed to be extended in two years. Bro needs to get paid, plain and simple. He needs the financial security to hire a full time live in chef and hire a personal trainer.
  3. Barnwell is a dvoa dork so not sure what he’s doing crafting COPE EDS except click farming.
  4. We have an entire page dedicated to bryce chat but it’s not reasonable to restrict it since replacing him the easiest and most obvious move the team can make if they’re serious about improving next season and seeing if Canales can actually coach. my other forum also has a bryce thread, but without the delusional defenders it’s just people rightly shitting on him and trying to figure out why the national media gives him the leash they do unlike say Caleb. also it has its own bryce smiley
  5. Of course he would sit out. It’s not worth risking an injury to play on the league minimum salary for him at this point in his career with the tape he’s put out. they either extend him for something reasonable or trade him.
  6. Lmao comparing Bryce in his luxury suite pocket vs what Herbert sees on every snap https://twitter.com/nflmemes/status/2010577295745159276?s=46
  7. More likely that defenses without pass rushers are low sack generating. but that’s the price you pay when you spend three seasons building one of the leagues least potent offenses.
  8. Panthers aren’t going to moonwalk into another losing record and first round loss at home with Bryce Ball next season. Everything is just as likely to go wrong as everything went right this season. Even a simple regression to the mean costs this team games. Panthers finished their last five games with as many losses as bryce had shitty passes on his final drive. He and Canales whimpered into the off-season. Low info fans can cloak themselves and narratives and instagram hype videos from 1000 follower accounts all offseason. This isn’t a team built to compete this season in dogshit division and they’ve already committed to the thing holding them back the most. I’m sure when they go 5-12 next year it’ll be everyone’s fault except the two most obvious culprits. Evero has to be kept just so dumb low information fans can blame the best coach on the team.
  9. The panthers will be PAYING him for another two years. Doesn’t mean he’ll be playing.
  10. Why is the judge Dredd cop pulling the tent over
  11. Respectfully (seriously) I don’t agree there. I think if they get another first down you call a timeout just to switch personnel, but from where they stopped, up 4, with that much time on the clock, I think letting the clock keep moving is the right play there. It’s close and it looks bad in retrospect but with the injury to horn i think you dare them to keep it going vs letting them put in a different package. The tight end just made an insane play on a great throw against good defense and you just gotta tip your hat in that scenario. They practice too. if we’re talking about timeouts and Canales he completely poo the bed on the next drive. Obviously bryce is a limited player but you’ve got three timeouts and you need 30 yards for a tying FG attempt. The rams probably give that up underneath to avoid getting beat over the top like they did in the regular season. evero is the can’t succeed to Bryce’s can only be failed. but the real problem with the final two minutes was on the panthers offense. You dare the rams to make that play to the tight end 10/10, especially with Stafford being hurt.
  12. On replay it didn’t look as bad as it did live but yeah I agree
  13. Instead he just threw 3.5 uncatchable balls
  14. This is a kind way of saying if anyone wants to trade for XL he’s available
  15. disclaimer: I’ve never scrubbed in on a patellar tendon repair but I’ve set up patients for it because it’s one of the tendon repairs that ortho trauma will do. It’s a little more emergent than like ACLs for reasons I don’t understand Ruptured patella is damn near worst case scenario. It’s what lets you straighten your leg. So if you imagine a bent leg the patella is like a pulley when your quads engage to straighten the leg. rupture is the worst of patella injuries. It’s graded 1-3. There’s a lot of wiggle room between the grades as you can imagine and surgeons always exaggerate what happened for prestige and billing reasons. Repair depends on the extent of the rupture. There are a lot of cool like nets they can put on. They can sample your own tissue and 3d print a supportive net that basically wraps the rupture and eventually gets absorbed into the tissue. If it’s totally torn and in two pieces which is pretty rare from what I understand then obviously they have to reattach it. they can do a tendon replacement and I’ve never seen that surgery but I can’t imagine that’s an option for your normal person it’s 6-12 months before you even start resuming light activities. This is to say nothing about playing LT in the nfl. Obviously players are gonna get peptides and PRP and blah blah blah but at the end of the day the tendon doesn’t get a lot of blood flow and he’s gonna be in a straight leg brace for several months with very limited ROM exercises, depending on the procedure and severity. Tendons just take time and there’s only so many ways around that. Additionally if it’s strong enough to rupture the patellar it did damage to something else they won’t know about until they get in there. “MRI is just a road map” etc. i cannot imagine he plays at all next year. Maybe they do a “he comes back for the playoffs” type deal but this is a devastating injury and it probably moves LT in the first round. just awful.
  16. Besides how often he hits up Panda Express in the offseason.
  17. Lol a bears fan buddy of mine being exposed to fawning Bryce coverage for the first time “This is giving me bizarre Bears vibes with coaches desperately trying to convince themselves that obvious scrub QBs are NFL players”
