I watched O'Leary at the Combine and he looked to be built more like a fullback to me...I would be disappointed with this pick, but ok with Collins and Fisher. I would rather have La'el over Landon. Oh, the joys of the offseason!

I was a huge "D-Will" fan, but I'm glad Deangelo showed his true colors instead of that manufactured image of the last several years. The problem is that most Panthers fans (including myself) didn't know him other than what he has created to be an image (fan-friendly, charitable good guy), so he won't take a big popularity hit. The biggest reason I'm pissed at him is, when we struggle, this will be another thing to bash Jerry (and the organization) for and call him a terrible owner. I simply don't believe this little egomaniac, I'm glad he's off my team, and I can't pull for this POS when he goes to the Bears! Stay classy, Deangelo!

This organization has its faults, but I don't believe the mudslinging that he is engaging in (on the way out the door) is true. Anyone else get the feeling we're starting to see a glimpse of the real Deangelo? At least Smitty waited a couple months before expressing bitterness toward DG. I gotta get All-Pro status...

On a positive note, I will be interested to see if J-Stew can seize the opportunity to be the feature back. He has always been somewhat behind Deangelo on the depth chart.

Don't know if I completely agree with the thread title, but I do think Both Cam and Luck are more "valuable" to their respective franchises. If they get paid more because of that then so be it. Wilson's leverage is getting to and winning a Super Bowl. So effectively, Wilson will get paid more on past production while Cam and Luck will cash in on a little past performance and a lot of future potential (which, by the way, I am all for). Bottom line: they all deserve what's coming to them.

What a great game to be at! When you pour your heart and soul (and checkbook) into this team, this organization...games like that one make it all worthwhile. Lately, the rain games have been some of the best to attend (Jacksonville 2011, this, and the Cardinals playoff game). Flashback: Now, it's on to Atlanta to kick the $&@! out of the Falcons!

It's Sean Gilbert for me...he sucked on the field and the picks we gave up to sign him crippled this franchise for a few years in the late 90's.

I would have loved to see us tweak our uniforms a little more than just a logo shift a couple of years ago. We could have had this new helmet and the silver one would have been a "retro".

Guys that could meet with JJR directly: Cam, Olsen, Kalil, Luke, TD, and CJ. I believe that Cam and Luke, although they have the status now, wouldn't necessarily exercise their right to convene with the Big Cat...yet.
