  1. He was listed at 245 last season. He's now listed at 250. 5'9", 250 lbs.... dayum
  2. Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet 29s29 seconds agoSources: The Cam Newton mega-extension being finalized with the #Panthers right now is expected to be 5 years, more than $100M.
  3. Don't be fuging with me Hurney... you've done that plenty over the years!
  4. Max Henson ‏@PanthersMax 48m48 minutes agoWR Corey Brown (no longer going by Philly) was outstanding. Said he's put on weight and is faster. It showed. Made several plays deep. Jonathan Jones ‏@jjones9 48m48 minutes agoI'm not one to stir up the hype machine, but Stephen Hill looked really good today. DBs were stretched thin with 2 starters out Black & Blue Review ‏@BlackBlueReview 1h1 hour agoOther quick notes: Just one day, but it was really good for Stephen Hill; ROUGH day for secondary; Cam fine day throwing & on designed run. and of course... Jeremy Igo ‏@CarolinaHuddle 45m45 minutes agoI have two players of the day today, Corey Brown and Stephen Hill. Both looked solid.
  5. I believe he is definitely worth what he's being paid, if you could guarantee his health. Easily a top 5 RB, and is everything you want/need in the type of offense we run.
  6. I'm 34. I've been a lifelong football fan. More a fan of certain players, than a particular team. Most of the time, the only games on TV were Redskins, or Cowboys games. I hated Dallas, so I would always cheer for the Redskins when they played. If there was even a slight alliance to any team, it was terminated as soon as the announcement was made, that the Carolinas were getting a team.
  7. and probably won't ever be done again in our lifetime. Exactly what Tiger was saying about unique and one of a kind.
  8. Makes sense, from a business standpoint. He's plastered all over the sports networks because of those catches, and people generally agree he's a stud.
  9. I think you're looking at it wrong, in Cam's case. Cam runs as a last resort. There's been many different breakdowns on his game to show it. He runs because he has to, not because he doesn't trust his arm.
  10. Beast Mode + elite defense had a much bigger impact in that success than Wilson. I don't think he's a terrible QB either, but that's the main difference, IMO.
  11. Cam is one of the better "reactionary" players in the game. When you put him in no huddle situations, he does just that. It's not necessarily a bad thing, and it's not something he has to run to be good/successful.
  12. Which can be seen here... soft ass http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap3000000420314/Jimmy-Graham-takes-shot-from-Thomas-Davis
  13. I'm a Duke basketball fan, but I'm also a Duke football fan. Have been since I can remember. Go Duke!
  14. My 3 and 9 year old boys would already have a 3 page rap sheet, if that were the case.
  15. Woah, WOAH!... Less criticism of Jameis then! Hypocrites!!!
  16. FSU fans... There's a surprising amount of them in the NC/SC area.
  17. Speaking of Tampa... Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet 29m29 minutes ago All the safeties for the #Bucs RT @NFLSTROUD: Bucs have claimed S DJ Swearinger.
  18. Jonathan Jones ‏@jjones9 1m1 minute ago Tough to gauge how well Funchess did today because QBs were kinda all over the place as they learned on the fly
  19. Couple of relevant tweets: Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter 13m13 minutes ago Before suffering season-ending torn ACL, Dante Fowler signed an injury protection waiver that obligates Jaguars to negotiate in good faith. ProFootballTalk ‏@ProFootballTalk 7m7 minutes ago No unsigned draft pick should step foot on a practice field without a signed four-year contract.
  20. First thing I thought... ACL = blown.
