Why? I can understand cringing when he's in for Benjamin(again, not his fault). He runs good routes and has above average hands. I have no problem with it. I'd say if you actually compare his production to most #4 WRs, it's probably all in line.

Point proven...

Will probably see something on Fozzy today as well.

Honestly, there's nothing bad about this signing. Being an ERFA, we get him at vet min. He had some pretty clutch grabs for first downs, and had a TD. Just forget about the PR/KR in his past(not his fault anyway), and he's all good for a #4/5 WR.

HAHA! I bet he did sigh to that contract.

Panthers Hoping To Sign Oher and Ginn Before Tuesday
Nick_81 replied to rscott94's topic in Carolina Panthers
He wasn't brought in to be a blocking TE. He was forced into the role. If you recall last preseason, all of the coaches were talking about how we were going to a two TE type of offense. Brockel would have played the role of the blocking TE, and also backup to Tolbert. He got put on IR early in the season, and then Tolbert was out for close to two months. Dickson was going to be the #2 TE receiving option, which wouldn't have been terrible. -

I disagree about Edwards/Cole. I thought they had a great year, for the roles they were in. Dickson could go either way. The biggest thing that hurt him was Tolbert's injury. Can't have a decent year as a TE, when playing FB for a lot of it. I will say, I don't think his impact would have been too massive anyway. -

Ginn will be tough... Home town showing interest will drive his price up, maybe more than DG wants to play with. -

Brian Hartline and Chris Canty to be released
Nick_81 replied to Mr Mojo Risin's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't really care for him personally. I think he was around $6 million/year at Miami. I'd bet he wouldn't go under $3-$3.5 million. Too much. -

Most people don't get to play a game for their "job." I don't hate my job at all, and I love the company I work for. However... fug yeah, paid vacation bitches!!! It's still a real job, not a game that almost anyone would want to play. What would bother me the most is the reason why I'm having to sit at home. Everyone thinks I'm a woman-beating, d-bag. Whether I am or not, everyone thinks I am. That's what would suck for me personally.

From my experience with him, yes, it's a bad thing. I don't go out of my way to approach those guys, and I don't start hollering, and acting a fool when I see them. I know they probably get their fair share of people that act that way, when they see them in public. I don't feel like talking sometimes, but if someone says something to me, I'll at least make eye contact, and acknowledge their existence, even if very briefly.
