  1. Would this site have the wrong info? Serious question, because that's what I've been going by. http://www.sportingcharts.com/dictionary/nfl/drop-percentage.aspx 8/95 = 8.4%
  2. I mostly agree, but if I'm DG, I'm still signing him. I'm not waiting on the mechanics/consistency, because most people can see the amount of work, and willingness to get better, that Cam puts in. I'm of the opinion that it will get there very soon. Probably quicker if they can help him with a better o-line as well. On the one thing in bold, I think you have to take a deeper look at. On the stat sheets, it's 100% true. However, if there was a stat that showed how many hits/sacks Cam avoided compared to Brady, how would that stat look? Probably very skewed. That's just a huge difference in athleticism, but it doesn't put our o-lines on equal ground. You have to consider it I think. Like I said though, I mostly agree.
  3. Didn't his tweet say 8 drops out of 99 targets? That's what the chart is showing. Or am I missing something else he said?
  4. All I'm telling you is that he is shopping around. Whether is one other team, or five, I don't know. Money is a huge factor in it. You can't say it isn't about the money, because it almost always is. Other things factor in, but that's the biggest. All players do this, from the stars, to those we consider "nobodies." Nothing out of the ordinary going on here. Just like last year, people left without contracts, and then ended up with the team a little later.
  5. It most certainly is about money. Long term deal, or not, money is one of the top priorities. A player may be willing to take a little less to play with a better team, but the difference won't be huge.
  6. That's cool. That was the information I was giving Mr. Scot in the other thread he was talking about, that you were unsure, in a previous post, where he got it. I gave him KB's year last season, to Perriman's year last season, in terms of drop percentage.
  7. Just because you don't like it, doesn't make it any less true. He's the one that has to look out for himself, and his family. I'd shop around to. I'd like for him to come here and have a shot, but if not... oh well.
  8. It's not uncommon for this to happen at all. Money talks.
  9. There's this though... Gil Brandt ‏@Gil_Brandt 3m3 minutes ago Perriman: 8 drops on 99 targets in 2014. No drops in final 4 games. Bowl vs NCST: 9 catches, 138 yds, 16 targets, 0 drops, 7 1st downs
  10. whoa, Whoa, WHOA!... He threw off of his back foot bruh. Not perfect. Trade nao, no excuses!
  11. I pulled info from this site. Seems like they have pretty accurate info, but I could be wrong. http://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats/drops/2014/ It looks like they calculate the drop % off of total number of targets to drops. 145 targets, 10 drops, drop percentage of 6.9%. According to Rotoworld, Perriman was around 12.9% in 2014, but maybe it was calculated a different way? 12.9% is a pretty scary percentage of drops, but I've not followed him at all, nor have I watched any game film... still scary tho.
  12. That's so hard on the eyes man... The edit is so much better, thanks. As it stands, right now, we don't even know if Jennings is signing yet, so we can't pencil that in. I'm not going to pencil a rookie in just yet either. What if he doesn't get a WR until the middle rounds, and they're not ready to start just yet? I also won't just push Brown out the door yet. The kid actually runs good routes, has shown good hands, has good speed, and doesn't show fear in traffic. Why just scratch him off the list, when he could be the future in the slot? Ginn won't be around for the next, even 5 years. I'm sure Hill can win a spot at the bottom of the roster. If he can't, well... lol. Also wouldn't hurt my feelings at all if he blows everyone else out of the water, and has become the freak he was supposed to be.
  13. I'm not really pushing for him. Nobody really, outside of Cooper/White, have me overly excited... and of course we can't get either of them. I'm sure someone else will take a shot at getting you talked into it.
  14. Ugh, I wish. Some Rivera quotes always make me really worry though... http://www.panthers.com/news/article-2/Rivera-raves-about-offense/958abea1-d165-412c-b056-b71a5d093301
  15. Really fast. Rotoworld says he had a drop rate of 12.96% in 2014. To contrast, KB's drop rate was 6.9% last season.
  16. Gil Brandt ‏@Gil_Brandt 2m2 minutes ago UCF WR Breshad Perriman had confirmed 40 times between 4.19 & 4.27 seconds; performance probably moved him to bottom 1st or top of 2nd round
  17. I didn't think he was all that great before he got injured last season. I guess you could chalk it up to the bad line.
  18. Oh wow. I bet he would do well at that also. Not GM right away, but personnel. I always hated him, even when he first signed here, lol. Considering where he's from, I guess that's quite understandable. He's a truly nice, genuine, guy though. Pretty awesome to talk to, and you can tell he's extremely knowledgeable.
  19. I could see that happening in the future. Probably not here, but he is an extremely intelligent guy that could make a good DB coach.
  20. I don't see anyone listed, that would shock me should they hit the road.
  21. CollegeFootball 24/7 ‏@NFL_CFB 2m2 minutes ago One thing to keep in mind about Perriman's 40: Hand times significantly faster than electronic. Can't compare to combine. Still fast.
  22. Oh, a caps LOL... well then, I guess you win the internet today. I can't top such a boisterous i-laugh.
  23. Yeah, just like CJ would have said at the podium, had he been on it... Doesn't change the fact that a hip-flexor and knee injury isn't going to allow a DE to be at his most effective. Gotta have a slight bit of common sense to put it all together...
