Dang man! I went and started researching to see if this was true. Got me all excited. I agree though, would be perfect for the Panthers if that’s where he lands.

I am absolutely burnt out from the recycled QBs we’ve had the last three seasons. And I like a lot of what I see from CJ. If our staff is all in then I definitely am as well. The picks won’t hurt as bad if we have a couple solid seasons. Which I think we are more than capable of having with this staff and roster.

We’ve all bickered for months in this board but I think it’s clear. As a whole, we want Stroud first.

I just want a rookie QB at this point. Any of the top four would do for me. Levis and AR have a higher ceiling but I don’t anticipate either one would start opening day. Stroud and Young would. I’ve probably watched Will more than anyone on this board. He is far from perfect but I see what a lot of other people see as far as potential. And if I think he’s being unfairly criticized then I have no problem defending him. I would defend Stroud and Young the same way, but they don’t get poo’d on nearly as much as Levis does. Especially on this board.

I’ve stated countless times dating back to last season I would draft Stroud first and Young second. I would be fine with drafting any of the four guys in the top ten. How does that make me a homer?

I am indifferent on Lamar coming here. If we knew he was going to be 100 percent, I would be more than happy to have him. I worry he might suffer the same fate as Cam, as a running QB. Lamar is exceptional because of his legs and playmaking. If he doesn’t have those, I’m just not sure he’s worth the price.

The age argument is fine. But lets not act like Will has a ton more experience. Hes been a starter for two years, and one of those years he missed some games. For the record I have stated AR has a higher ceiling

I could get behind this more if the season was four games long. But it’s not, and it doesn’t tell the whole story of how each player performed all season. Each team played 3 cupcakes, and ACC team, and 8 conference games. Levis came out with a stinger completion percentage by quite a bit. ARs passing is a big concern to me and that’s why I’m higher on Will

I’ve seen Brissett thrown around a few times. At first I wasn’t fond of that idea, but I had forgotten that he’s played under Reich before. I am warming up to starting the season off with him and handing off to Richardson or Levis after some games. I don’t think we should sign him if our staff plans to go with Stroud or Young. Those guys should be out there game one.

How do you explain Levis having a completion percentage over 10 percent higher than ARs? Their common opponents is a fine argument but it doesn’t paint the entire picture.

My thing is, completion percentage is such a huge part of it. Especially when the difference is over 10 percent. That’s a pretty big gap. You won’t find me stating that Will is a better athlete or runner. Richardson has a higher overall ceiling, too. I come off as an AR hater I’m sure, but I’ve stated quite a few times I’m fine if we take him and he will have my full support. Might even buy a jersey. And to be honest, there are some posters on here that have a raging Will Levis hate boner. And as a UK fan, I can’t help but defend him when I don’t this he’s being fairly critiqued. There’s plenty you can say Will needs to get better at without getting personal in your analysis.

Posters on this board were actually arguing Richardson is more accurate than Levis. With more help and much worse stats. I have no problems having a favorite, I think we all do. Hell, I’d rather have Stroud or Young than both. But at least make some sense instead of taking weird stances like that.

It’s weird for sure. I know everyone has an opinion on who we should draft. But there has been true hatred towards him in recent months from certain posters. Who go beyond just critiquing his game. That leads me to believe they have tiny wieners.
