I doubt it. It was probably a collective decision by the owners that nobody was gonna touch him until he was completely cleared. There's no way the NFL lets the risk to its image happen right now with Hernandez, Rice, and everything else thats happened casting a long shadow.

I'm sure that, like most players, there were teams who told him "If you're there when we pick, we're going to pick you." Wouldn't be surprised if that's a big factor in his decision.

I hope we go after Lael Collins at the appropriate time. I know there will be a ton of teams vying for him, so I understand if we don't get him, but we need to go all out for him.
