Introducing The Athletics Dane Brugler 7-round mock draft
WUnderhill replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I like Zach Evans and would be a bit surprised if he was there at 132, but I’m not sure what value he brings to our team this season. Doesn’t really seem like a goal line or short yardage back, isn’t a great pass catcher or blocker at this point. I think that pick could be better used. I would like it if we hadn’t signed Sanders. -
Reports were that Hurney wanted to trade up for Herbert, but Matt Rhule didn’t. I think the first couple drafts Matt Rhule had pretty much all the power. I have a feeling some of that power was reduced last draft based on how he treated Corral.
-
Don’t stop there. If refs treat Cam Newton like most other QBs in the league, the Panthers start a dynasty in 2015.
-
Huh? Nobody takes QB #1 overall and has them sit. When was the last time it happened? 80’s? 70’s? Ever?

Is it time to take the Falcons seriously?

I thought they were going to be competing for one of the top QBs next year. Good on them for adding just enough to go 7-10/8-9 and miss out. -
Panthers sign wide receiver Damiere Byrd

Is he better than he was, the same, or worse? -
But Bryce Young did good on a test...right??

Math police here to let you know that 2020 comes before 2021. -

Matt Rhule didn’t want Fields, just like Matt Rhule didn’t want to trade up for Herbert. Thankfully, Matt Rhule is gone. -
Anthony Richardson “knocked” S2 cognitive test “out of the park”.

With what people are saying about Caleb Williams and Drake Maye right now, it really might have been the best option for him as far as draft position to come out this year. But who knows, so much can happen in a year. Maye and Williams will start getting nitpicked to hell just like everybody else. -
For? You’re the one making the nonsensical alt claims. I mean you didn’t even understand my first post and have some sort of mental breakdown at any attempt at discussion of factors outside of your comfort zone so it’s not like I have any delusions that you’re going to all of a sudden have anything reasonable to say. I think you’re projecting some insecurities or something, but that’s on you.

Wow this is really affecting some of you huh. https://247sports.com/Article/Colorado-football-Deion-Sanders-comments-about-recruiting-positions-based-on-parent-dynamics-revisited-205215960/Amp/ Literally said I wondered about something based on Deion Sanders comments and didn’t have the answers. Get over yourselves.

There’s something that’s been eating at me with Stroud, and it goes back to something Deion Sanders said. Sanders said, regarding recruiting, they look for QBs from 2 parent households. I’d be curious if there are many, if any, successful NFL QBs without strong father figures. I don’t know the answer to the question, but I do believe that strong fathers are important to building strong men. That doesn’t mean there is no possibility to be a strong man without a strong father, but it definitely makes it harder. Take it for what you will. Stroud could be great regardless, or he could flop and it have nothing to do with his father being in prison.

Is Bryce a #1 prospect if he didn’t go to Bama?
WUnderhill replied to Wundrbread33's topic in Carolina Panthers
Kind of a confusing take considering Alabama isn’t exactly known for getting QBs drafted even in the first round until just the past few years with Tua and Mac Jones. Has Alabama ever had a QB go #1? -
Only if the one we pick ends up clearly better than the other and doesn’t get injured ever.
