  1. Listen, I wasn’t misquoting him, I was taking out filler and not typing up a big run-on sentence. He can say “the players decide who plays” all he wants. The point is, no matter what he says, he and the coaches set the depth chart and decide who plays. Now maybe I was misunderstanding when he said his job was to make sure there were good players in the room as in from a cutting to the final 53 perspective as opposed to bringing in guys as a GM. I can accept that. The focus of the quote was that he is a coach not a GM, I was intentionally not focusing on the “players decide who plays” coach speak bullshit.
  2. It doesn’t fit because it is actually not the quote. Maybe Rhule said that too at some point, not sure.
  3. Just watched a video of him on ESPN, if I could post it I would. He says: ”My job is not to pick the starting quarterback…my job is to make sure we have really good players in the room.” He’s literally describing the job of a GM. I think somebody needs to tell him his job title is Head Coach.
  4. The media slobjobbing of the SEC has really gotten to some of you.
  5. 5.875 that’s a BIG round down you’re being pretty disingenuous here.
  6. How in tf do we not get 2 of those 1sts? Not only that, we get the worst of the 3. If #11 is worth those 3 picks, then surely #13 is worth at least 2 of them. How can you make this move as a GM.
  7. What world are they living in? The team lost the play in game and they think we don’t have room on the roster to add young talent? Maybe if they actually played our first round picks instead of Martins and Plumlees they would have some sort of idea of whether we had real dudes or jags. Just a thought.
  8. So why value 4 second round picks? Makes no sense.
  9. The pick is top 4 protected too. Hoping more details come out and the deal is not as shitty as it seems right now.
  10. Sad, but Corral just became a millionaire, do they really need a gofundme right now trying to get donations from people scraping by with all this inflation?
  11. Talk about an unreadable mess. Whoever made that graphic should be fired.
  12. They may not rig every pick or even a pick every year, but they have purposefully instituted a very easy to rig system. More likely than not, there have been some shenanigans at some point *cough* league owned team *cough* Anthony Davis *cough*
  13. If he can handle the mental stuff we got a steal. There have been a lot of QBs who come into the league with elite physical traits, powerful arms, grit, toughness, etc. who fail. There’s a reason he was available at the end of the 3rd and I don’t think it was because he enjoyed drinking and got into a fight with a kid at a prep school. I think the only Super Bowl winning QB to score under a 20 on the wonderlic was Terry Bradshaw, and there’s just no way Terry could play in today’s game with his mental capacity. I hope Corral is the exception, just trying to temper my expectations.
  14. How do you know he didn’t sell at a profit?
  15. I’m sure Christian Miller is loving his decision to take a year off. What a rocket scientist.
  16. I heard this report before, and what I took from it is the Browns are really stupid. No surprise there. They’d rather pay $19m and get a disgruntled backup QB, than pay $19m and get draft picks/players in return for disgruntled backup QB.
  17. McXavier sounds like a name that would be in a Key and Peele sketch
  18. Dude had the lowest wonderlic of all the QBs. His main knock was whether he could run an NFL offense and get past a one read and run mentality. His low score suggests that may be a challenge.
