  1. Our logo is a black panther with blue highlights. If you’re going just by what makes the most sense with the team colors and mascot, our primaries would be all black with the blue stripes. Don’t lump us in with the rest of these teams who have no reason to wear black. You ever seen a black falcon?
  2. I think the Seahawks and Lions are pretty happy with their trades right now, they both currently have top 5 picks from trading their franchise QBs and better records than the teams they traded them to.
  3. Imagine hitching your wagon to that turd train.
  4. Some people just like to present as morally superior. There’s plenty to judge. He wasn’t just a bad coach, he shat on the franchise and whatever culture was there, and like you said he took vacations when he should have been working his tail off. I’m not happy for him, but I’m not mad or anything since idgaf about Nebraska, it’s just whatever. Ron Rivera is a good example of somebody you can be happy for even though he wasn’t the best coach for us because of the man that he is. Matt Rhule, not so much.
  5. Well the argument would make more sense if he was good against inferior competition like the other QBs, but he hasn’t been that great. Threw an INT against Miami (OH), 2 against Youngstown St., 0 TD 1 INT 15 QBR in giving Vandy their first SEC win in like 4 years or something crazy like that. Maybe he’s the best QB prospect, but the reasoning given here is pretty dumb.
  6. You don’t really know how to look at stats. The success rate is higher for QBs selected in t10. Let’s make up some imaginary numbers so you can understand. Lets say out of 10 Super Bowls, 5 winning QBs were selected in t10 and 5 came from everywhere else. Additionally, let’s say of those 10 years there were a total of 20 QBs drafted in the t10. That’s 5/20, or 1/4 of the t10 QBs got a super bowl. Now let’s say there were 100 other QBs that came into the league from everywhere else: other rounds of the draft, undrafted, NFL Europe, Arena Football, Canada, whatever. That’s 5/100, or 1/20. Now do you like a 1 in 4 chance for a super bowl better or 1 in 20?
  7. I guess depends how many times it gets rubbed in our faces? I looked at your profile bc I thought you must be salty from some conversation we had in the trade deadline thread or something, but I still have no idea who tf you are. If my posts bother this much, feel free to ignore me, I’ll find a way to manage. But with your 26k posts to my 1.6k I’ve got pretty good idea on who probably makes more redundant posts around here.
  8. Look at that, 8-1 Eagles currently drafting #4 overall. THAT’S why you do that Rams trade.
  9. Baltimore is a better, more consistent franchise than us with better owners, better coaches, and a better GM. If they think it’s a bad idea to give him the contract he wants, I sure as hell don’t want the Panthers to give it to him PLUS multiple first round picks.
  10. Why do you think so many people were pissed they didn’t take the Burns trade?
  11. It’s a penalty only when the Panthers do it. What is so hard to understand about that?
  12. I find it very difficult to judge Fitterer from the outside looking in. I really doubt he is the final shot caller on these trades and find it much more likely that Tepper is the one approving or rejecting them. Either way, it was incredibly dumb to turn down that package for Burns.
  13. I’m more worried about what quality coach is going to want to come here if we fug around and win another game or 2 and end up drafting 5 or 6 or some poo.
  14. Hence “Tepper must have read huddle logic.” You quoted me. You’re free to stfu whenever you want.
  15. This is pretty funny considering you pooed then quoted my post and the first thing you said was “Lol dumb” when I wasn’t even talking to you. You’re pretty self-righteous there bud.
  16. It’s literally not. Pretending that it’s a hard and fast rule that applies at all times is incredibly stupid and naive. 1st round picks are 1st round picks. The Rams value them less than the Panthers should right now. It’s funny how on your high horse you are in this thread, calling people emotional, yet you are the one who has made like half the posts the past couple pages.
  17. Tepper must have read huddle logic about the 1sts only being worth 2nd and 3rd round picks.
  18. I get not trading DJ, but I just read an updated report that the Rams offered two 1sts AND a 2nd rd pick for Burns. Just absolutely stupid to turn that down.
  19. Oh yeah I don’t think they’re a t4 team this year.
  20. You mean this year or every year?
