  1. I’ve become so disenfranchised with this transfer portal era of college basketball. College bball was once my favorite sport to watch, it’s just hard to get invested now.
  2. In the McGinn article, the executive clearly stated that the 18% was Strouds “total” score. It is possible he mischaracterized it, but it was clearly distinguished as a total score. The article also went into a little bit of detail on what the test consisted of and different areas that were scored, so I don’t think there was a lack of understanding of the test either.
  3. I think it’s such a subjective statement. Scored well how? Like maybe Stroud scored well in certain areas, who knows. I think at the time the statement was made, they may not have anticipated certain scores getting out. It is in their best interest to keep the narrative positive, they don’t want QBs to start declining to take the test before they have the whole NFL bought in.
  4. Weird, I just looked at literally the first 8 results when google searching “2023 NFL Draft Big Board” and here they are in order: PFF: Young #1 overall prospect Tankathon: Young #1 QB, #2 overall prospect NFL.com (Jeremiah): Young #1 overall prospect Fox Sports: Young #1 overall prospect Draft Network: Young #1 QB, #4 overall prospect Walter Football: Young #1 QB, #2 overall prospect Sporting News: Young #1 overall prospect ESPN: Young #1 overall prospect Why even post such a verifiably incorrect response. This is supposed to be a positive thread.
  5. I don’t know what the team is thinking, but I’m looking at Ojulari and Sanders both at OLB in a 3-4.
  6. The 2nd round pick is really intriguing. It will be interesting on draft day to see if there’s a situation something like both Ojulari and Sanders on the board how the team values them. I’ve also seen some mock drafts in which all the players the team is most likely to covet at that pick are gone and that is terrifying.
  7. It’s amazing how many horrendous players we tried to pass off as starters under Rivera and Rhule.
  8. It’s a rare opportunity to be able to get the #1 overall pick in a year in which there is a consensus #1 QB who is also the #1 prospect among all positions on many big boards. It’s a really great and exciting time for the team.
  9. Dodging the question, I expect nothing more from you.
  10. Which of the 3 things are you asserting as true. Either McGinn is full of poo, all the scouts and executives got their stories straight to deceive him, or Landon used a really dumb argument based on a weeks old interview and you ran with it because you couldn’t help yourself. Say which one please. I throw in a 4th option. Somebody made it all up and put Bob McGinn’s name on it. Ok now pick one of the 4.
  11. Lol the guy who has to create a whole thread anytime something even remotely negative comes out about Stroud or positive about Young.
  12. Unfortunately, a thread got locked and labeled as a false report recently based on a jumpy huddle member posting a tweet from a guy on twitter which referenced an interview from April 14. The April 14 podcast clip was used to discredit an article by Bob McGinn, who has been writing an NFL draft series for 39 years both online and in print for respected news organizations. McGinn’s article was posted today, April 21. The podcast clip from April 14 was of the co-founder of the S2 test saying that the leaked scores for the test at that time were fake. How that gets applied to scores NFL executives talk about in McGinn’s article an entire week later, your guess is as good as mine. McGinn has been around a long time and has a lot more credibility than Landon on Twitter and panthergoat guy. The McGinn article in question actually consisted mostly of quotes from current NFL executives, from the NFC and the AFC. Here’s some snippets: ”Multiple sources said Young’s total score was 98% whereas Stroud’s total score was 18%” ”When another executive was informed that Stroud scored extremely low, he said that it confirmed what he had seen on tape.” ”…executive said. “If you get a high score as a quarterback it’s not saying you’re going to be a great player. But if you get a low score, it’s 100% - none of the quarterbacks that got a low score became good players. ”The benchmark is 80. Eighty and above is good. Stroud was 18. It’s incredibly terrible. He’s going to be off (some team’s) boards. He will not be picked by those teams.” ”Despite the S2 results, a survey of 16 evaluators asking them for their choice as the quarterback with the best chance to bust showed Stroud behind Richardson and Levis. The bust vote count was eight for Richardson, five for Levis, two for Stroud, and one for Young.” So I ask you. Which of these things is more likely? 1. Bob McGinn, journalist for many decades, worked for Green Bay Press Gazette, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, The Athletic, etc. is lying through his teeth about everything and made it all up. 2. Said guy above did in fact talk to the NFL execs, 16 evaluators, etc. and they all got their stories together about what the test scores were and lied to him. 3. Landon on Twitter and panthersgoat are full of poo.
  13. Anybody on Twitter want to ask Landon Oliver why he’s using a week old interview and acting like it’s talking about a leak from today? Seems pretty shady to me idk. Also, I thought the blue check marks were going away? Here’s the podcast episode, you can see the date is April 14.
  14. Maybe it wouldn’t come up if you didn’t lie about it every time you make a thread.
  15. Hey just FYI the podcast with the S2 guy was a week ago and was not in reference to the scores leaked in the locked thread. I’m not saying what’s true and what’s false, but using a quote from a week ago and making out like it is in reference to scores leaked today is wrong.
  16. He said that a week ago it has nothing to do with these specific leaked scores. I’m not saying what’s true and what’s fake, but that particular quote means nothing in regards to today’s leak.
  17. Ooo, here we go with the name calling. So you made this thread completely independent of the Stroud test score leaks from today? Is that what we are to believe?
  18. This has already been posted and discussed in the other thread. You’re providing nothing new. Sorry to burst your bubble.
  19. That interview was released on April 14 so how exactly do you think that addresses a leak from today? “But continue to believe every thing the Media tells you.” Can’t make this poo up.
  20. https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/36253230/nick-nurse-raptors-coach-sources-say Are we really gonna go with Steve Clifford for another season? There’s some quality coaches available, just praying this org gets off its ass.
  21. Yeah but you know what, so did Will Smith in Men In Black and we all know how that turned out.
  22. It could matter, depends on the test. When I was in school I took some tests for a study by some grad students. They were trying to test recall. I performed well partially because I knew some tricks. Like one of the portions of the test was recalling sequences of numbers. I knew that chunking the numbers helps with recall, so instead of trying to remember 1, 5, 8, 3, 6, 2 or whatever it was, I would remember 2 numbers: 158 and 362. And that’s something you learn from psych/cog 101 level classes. Either way, I doubt it would account for as much of a difference as is being reported here.
