Not surprising, defense is about the only thing Clifford can coach.

I think maybe he’s just trolling it makes no sense.

I feel like maybe you don’t understand how NBA draft trades work, or maybe even trades in general. First, you need both sides to agree to a trade. It sounds like you think the Hornets can just decide to make a trade without the trade partner’s consent. Two, you don’t take the player and bank on trading him later. You work out the trade beforehand and select for each other. As I’m typing this I feel like I’m pissing into the wind and I’m pretty sure you’re just going to repeat the same thing again so I’m done just be pissed over this nonsense whatever.

I’m so confused why you think Portland was offering assets for a pick swap and Charlotte declined. This is so bizarre.

AA

Dam would have preferred that foreign PF who went a pick after but oh well I guess at this point in the draft. How many PGs we need?
-
What Kobe’s agent reportedly did to the Hornets.
-
I like that they’re just going bpa and upside.
-
Mitch said they had offers. Said something along the lines of they were offered some really good players. If they were going to trade the pick they had the opportunity to trade it pre draft. The Hornets then still make the pick and the trade is announced. Kind of weird to assume a pick swap was on the table with Portland and the Hornets turned it down. That doesn’t make sense. That’s why you’re mad it didn’t happen, because it doesn’t make sense for them to not do it if it’s available. Why would you assume it was available rather than the most likely reason it didn’t happen: it wasn’t available.

Lol wtf.

Could be a steal. Didn’t realize how young Nick Smith is. Apparently a bit misused at Arkansas plus injuries.
-
More length at guard I guess.
-
Dam I think it would suck to have pics of ur mom around the internet like that.
-
Lol ok.
-
Rockets had a really good draft and actually got a good coach in the off season.
-
Nah I just read past headlines.

Oh man, guess the cops better call you then. Somebody needs to tell them their security camera footage of Miller dropping his friends off, the receipts and staff testimony from the restaurant he ate at, the cell phone records, the other friend he gave a ride home, are all a lie. That was clearly all a ploy for Miller to give his friend’s gun a nice ride around town until he needed it to commit a crime. I guess they used AI to fake it all.
-
They better not keep them all after Kupchak gave that bs excuse for trading the #13 pick for a bunch of second rounders so they could use them for trade chips.
-
Anybody can cherry pick parts that make things look one way or the other, see: “Miller “had no knowledge of any intent to use any weapon” on Jan. 15 and that Miller never touched the gun, was not involved in its exchange and “never knew that illegal activity involving the gun would occur.” “The police investigator said that, on the dash-cam footage/audio, Davis did not make any threats about doing harm or shooting or killing anyone in the black Jeep.“ Miller probably could have done some things differently, but people making posts in here painting it with no context like his buddy just texts him to bring him a gun at 2am to shoot somebody and Miller’s just like oh yeah let me be the official delivery agent of murder weapons around here is just wrong. He was a cooperating WITNESS from the start. Let me repeat, he is regarded as a WITNESS by police. They have a complete timeline from him with receipts and corroborating witness testimony. They have security camera footage and his own vehicles dashcam footage. They have all text and phone records. He needs to pick better friends and be more aware. The firearm was legally owned by his friend, I can’t advocate for people to refuse to return other people’s legal property if they don’t clearly know that it will be used illegally. If his friend wanted it for his own self defense, who is Miller to deny it? If Miller had been told it was going to be used in committing a crime, then he would have been arrested. I don’t pretend it’s an easy situation, I think he was put in a bad situation because of his poor choices in friends. Like how the fug are you going to be messing around and leaving your gun in your buddy’s back seat? Hopefully having bullets coming at him and hitting his windshield as he’s trying to get away was a real wake up call.
-
He was a DD lol. Would it kill you to read about it? He dropped them off at the club, went to a restaurant to eat, drove another friend home, and was already on his way to pick them up before he even knew the gun was in the car. Not that you’ll read it: https://www.tuscaloosanews.com/story/sports/college/basketball/2023/06/15/brandon-miller-video-court-testimony-january-15-fatal-shooting-tuscaloosa-jamea-harris/70291776007/

Excuse for what? Read the fuging case. They have the texts and the timeline for everything, jfc.

His friend was in his car earlier and he accidentally left his gun in the back seat. Miller did not know it was there until his friend let him know it was there and to bring it back to him. If my buddy leaves his gun in my car you bet your ass I’m bringing it back to him I’m not holding onto and knowingly driving around with somebody else’s gun in my car. I’m also probably chewing my buddy out. He no doubt needs to pick better friends.

People have lost their damn minds. This is exactly like Bryce Young/CJ Stroud where people thought Stroud was the higher rated prospect just because that narrative built up when it wasn’t even reality. Here’s a CONSENSUS big board with Brandon Miller as the CONSENSUS #2 PROSPECT based on multiple national media big boards. https://www.nbamockdraftdatabase.com/big-boards/2023/consensus-big-board-2023 But people still trying to say they drafted for fit. Just dumb af.
-
This is a hilariously bad take. I hate this FO. They suck. Clifford will probably send Miller to the swarm because they’re idiots. However, there is so much bs flying around here it’s hard not to point out. Miller jumped Scoot on draft expert big boards this year. Not mocks, but player rankings, and judging by the reaction of some here you’d think we selected the consensus #20 player over the consensus #1 player. It’s just not based in reality. There was a narrative that nobody wanted to trade up for Miller, and when somebody posted a video of an insider literally saying that if teams thought they could get to 2 it would be for Miller, it was immediately “Nah that’s fake” and nobody wanted to talk about it after. People just running with narratives.
-
How hard did Scoot work for his g league team this past season? How hard did he work for that 76% FT percentage. A stat that is all about grinding reps in the gym he is sub par. This narrative is crazy that people have manufactured.
