  1. sweet feet Sewell and then yeah a big nasty looking LG with a mean streak... woe wait a minute who's my QB again?...just saying
  2. ok here while I have a minute to spare this morning & having breakfast... let's list & talk to some extent about not all of them but a majority of traits that i look for while watching 3 to 4 hours of film footage on Sam Darnold A)...his follow through B)...of course you know his size is taken into consideration C)...throwing motion D)...his footwork/ is he throwing while his feet are parallel? E)...pocket presence/ can he allude pressure with his feet? F)...accuracy ***G)...vision or let's say how see's the field & open recievers/& this is where take note Darnold struggles as he has STARES down his target allowing the defense to gain a step & anticipate his throws*** H)...under pressure / poise I)..& of course leadership is probably the hardest things to eveluate by just watching film but you stll you do your best as this is really really important
  3. he's not going to watch his games because if he did then they would realize LT ain't Darnold's problem. or better yet let him go watch some film on the Jets LT Mehki Becton who was one of the best tackles in last year's draft...
  4. yeah i've been watching Darnold alot here lately 3 to 4 hours a day this past week since I feel he will be the Panthers starting QB this upcoming season.& what I've seen is that the majority of the mistakes he makes cannot in FACT be attributed to talent, poor coaching or lack of protection but instead his ability or let's say inability to process.
  5. oh man watching tape on Darnold just make so many mental errors in a clean pocket over & over & over I just Immm am very skeptical of his success let me elabaroate some..the game is very fast for him to mentally process
  6. lol at this idiot... Lance is going to be one of the best QBs in this draft class
  7. ok well sorry for the bad news but I'm saying right now Darnold will not be fine even prior to the start of the season or let's say movie for the real spoiler alert ...just saying
  8. so Tampa Bay won the Superbowl because they were an extremely good team.?..
  9. it's like the old saying goes "their putting the cart in front of the horse" & by the way thumbs up on a great post
  10. i mean that's just plain common sense for me but on the other hand that seems to go in one ear & out the other around here more often than not ..i mean just look at the facts... A)...it"s investing in one of the biggest & most important unknowns on the field considering the fact that Darnold has never statistically been nothing more than a below average QB in the NFL. B) you got to take into consideration that we have Joe Brady for an OC whose done wonders in the past developing young collegiate QBS but for only a very limited amount of time what one or maybe two more years tops before he gets a head coaching job somewhere else more than likely C) great investment way way more return for a quality or even average QB on the open market than any other position on the field.for a prime example of that just look at what what we had to give in order to sign Darnold.& my gosh it"s not like an upgrade over Will Grier isn't a bad idea who has little to no value in a trade D)...& most importantly Sam Darnold needs to be pushed or let's say fight for the starting job in camp instead of basically being unopposed. E) like I've said before you gotta strike while the iron is hot #8 if the opportunity presents itself to draft a QB that you like and believe in if your the Panthers
  11. i think DaQuan Jones was or is one of the best free agent signings this off-season for the Panthers taken into consideration THAT... A) .. we struggled in run defense last year or let"s just say we were bad & that"s this guy"s forte collapsing the pocket & stopping the run ... B)...he"s still in his twenties at the ripe young age of 29... C)...there is a real limited amount of quality free agent interior defensive linemen & slim pickings in this upcoming draft D)...was a captain on a solid defense in Tennessee where he started every game he played (90) in since 2015 E)...looks like he took a significant pay cut from his previous contract of 3 year 21 million to if I'm not mistaken looks like a one year 4 million dollar "prove it or let"s say yourself deal" with the Panthers F)... & has said in the past that he embraces mentoring his younger teammates.& that's exactly what we need here in Carolina with our young defensive line & former #1 pick Derrick Brown G)... ok that"s it for now...
  12. i think you strike while the iron is hot if one of the QBs falls to #8 because Darnold is to big of an unknown at this point ?.that also makes Darnold compete or let's say pushes him in camp in order to win the starting job instead of basically being unopposed. Then moreover on top of that if they both look good in camp even better especially if you draft Trey Lance who has the most potential.
  13. Trey at #8 there's your answer...& just saying it again & again & ag....
  14. we have a backup caliber starting QB based on stats & facts starting for us right now without competition or let's just say unopposed & this grandiose experiment implementing our offensive gurus minds and grand schemes of things into this formula for Darnolds success oh boy I hope not......just saying
  15. yeah i know man i think he's going to be one of the best QBs in this year's draft & so the thought of him being a Falcon really really sucks
  16. growing up around football with his Dad playing in the CFL the kid feel in love with the game of football especially the idea of being a star QB one day in the NFL I believe & so yeah I think his reps are fine since they will be done with love & even finer with Joe Brady as his OC in Carolina.
  17. .it's honestly heartbreaking to even try to imagine the thought of LaMelo not being out there on the court anymore for the rest of the season smiling from ear to ear & face to face with his dream come true
  18. Bledsoe who almost DIED due to a sheared blood vessel in his chest played in only 2 games in 2001 prior to being traded in 2002 after 9 seasons in the NFL at the age of 30 x3 time pro bowler DeShaun Watson has been in the NFL 4. years now & hasn't missed a game since 2017 due to injury & just last year in 2020 he led the NFL in passing yards & is currently 25 years of age. but yet you continue to compare these two as similar situations...LMAO for real
  19. dude for starters Bledsoe was nowhere near the prime of his career whenever New England traded him to division rival Buffalo for only one first round pick. I could go on & on & on but i'm not look the Bledsoe / Watson trade comparison is laughable to put it mildly
  20. yeah matter of fact i've seen him play in person at Bank of America Stadium.but what is your point?
