I just don't think Bryce should start if you are going to keep him & actually develop him be patient & let him be the backup for now while he works on his mechanics & footwork hopefully put on a little more weight etc.

Offseason Topic: Most Under Appreciated Panther
bandu replied to CanadianCat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Colin Jones was one of those types of players for the Carolina Panthers that was under appreciated imo -
the only thing that I would say that I am truly excited about before the season starts is that the Carolina Panthers have probably like a 90% chance of having a top 5 pick in next year's draft
-
yeah i was talking about John Fox & Ron Riveras teams
-
yeah we have always had our best football teams with defensive minded head coaches ...just saying
-
yeah seems like alot of motivational feel good rah rah rah which yeah is all good I just honestly have my doubts that approach is the proper blueprint to fix this team & Bryce Young still out there hopping while all at the same time he was throwing the football is just brutal on the eyes to watch .Canales needs to make him stop doing that ...just saying
-
you don't know for sure if the Texans were not just trying to make the Panthers think one way & then turn around & do the opposite...just saying

Will the Panthers be better than most are expecting?
bandu replied to jayboogieman's topic in Carolina Panthers
yeah lol never say it can't get any worse with David Tepper in charge -
Does anyone actually think Bryce will actually be good?
bandu replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
yeah would have loved to seen Will Levis & Xavier Legette play together & then Canales as the play caller ...just saying good gracious -

well yeah to certain extent but still it matters who you have also under center directing traffic & distributing the ball to your offensive weapons or you will be just like the Cleveland Brown's were several years ago when they had arguably if not one of the best oL in the NFL with players like Joel Bitinio & JC Trotter & Joe Thomas... just saying -
we have Mevis who is young cheap & a big clutch leg so who really cares about Eddie money at this point not me...just saying

yeah I was hoping that we stayed put & drafted Levis at #9 i even said on here after we foolishly traded up for Bryce Young that I would not be surprised whatsoever if the Bears were picking #1 overall with our pick this year but what ...just saying
-
you get so caught up in identifying the problems with everyone else what about an undersized Qb who almost led the league in bad throws last season & couldn't run the offense from under center which made it more difficult for the oL to sell the run on passing plays from the shotgun I dare say right lol & can almost assure you that Bryce Young played a bigger role in the problems we seen along the oL & with our WR corps than most people realize

Caleb Williams is struggling big time in OTAs
bandu replied to Lame Duck's topic in Carolina Panthers
yeah I I am thinking the same thing...just saying -
I heard yall wanted Bryce to bulk up this offseason
bandu replied to thebdawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
yeah their arms might have been skinny but look how broad their shoulders are & the length of their arms & maybe just maybe that length × width has alot to do with the velocity on the football moreso than the muscle in their biceps & forearms look at Elway & Jeff George they both had a cannon for an arm & also had similar builds to Eli & Matt Ryan I am not even sure that muscles have alot to do with velocity sure some but no not alot...just saying -

oh yeah looks like Drew Brees thinks like Peyton Manning & plays like a mini Patty Mahomes this kid has been compared to some NFL Legends & that's exactly why he went #1 overall...just saying -
in 2025 we are according to oddsmakers favorites to have the #1 overall pick again...just saying

did Seattle interview or request an interview with Canales for their HC vacancy ? for some reason i was thinking the Panthers were the only team in the NFL that offered Canales an interview ?
-
but i love Canales personality & positive attitude.i am just not sure how much of that will translate into winning football
-
i just think Canales ihonestly s way to green for this job as HC in Carolina & that David Tepper made once again another knee jersey jerk decision out of desperation in an attempt to fix Bryce Young
-
Penix is 6'& 2" & 215 lbs. runs a 4.5 / 40 can jump out the gym & has a cannon for an arm.& is accurate at all 3 levels & is the most pro ready Qb in the draft & some people just can't understand why Atlanta would waste their 8th pick on him ...lol yeah bingo that is my big issue right there with the Panthers they say one thing about wanting players that have that dawg mentality & well in my mind your Qb has to be the big dog the alpha leader of the pack
-
okay & if you don't think Penix looks like a legit NFL starter & was the BPA at Atlanta's pick then you need to go watch the game he had against Texas. & i'll tell you what I seen ... i seen the best performance all year of any Qb in college football...just saying
-
well yeah i ageee that Penix age is definitely a legitimate concern of course but all at the same time it's not also inconceivable to think that history would not once again repeat itself & Penix play in the NFL 15 plus years just like A. Rodgers & Steve Young ...just saying
