A little too soon to write Orlov off. He certainly needs a more responsible defensive defenseman pairing with him. Chatfield fits that bill.
I remember we were pretty hard on Burns early last season and he came around, I expect Orlov to do the same.
As you say Burns was utter ass at this point last year but turned out to be fantastic. Hopefully Orlov does the same.
Goal tending is our biggest obstacle to a Cup and has been for years, that should have its own thread.

Can't even see the Canes when they're on the road. ESPN+ didn't carry the LA or Anaheim games.
I watched both on ESPN+ using my VPN. At least what I was awake for lol

Well even considering an early season, west coast, back to back this is utter garbage.

Completely off the pace. Chatfield with fresh legs may have made sense

Yay I can stay awake for this one. Maybe.
VPN an ESPN+ is working a treat by the way.
First look at Raanta tonight and would like to see a bit more solid D, early days yet though for the chemistry to build. Hopefully not out shot like last night which doesn’t happen very often

If you are going for it on fourth and you know you will then why not run it on third as well? Making 3-4 every run
-
Well that’s weird. It was there at 7.15 eastern as I was reading it. Came to post as I just caught up on game and it’s disappeared

Maybe they can fit a game in between all the commercials. This is pathetic
Unwatchable to be honest. Why I don’t get invested in any game, just so painful to stay involved

Are you in Wales? If so, how do you watch the Canes. Moving to Germany in a few weeks.
I’m sorry I missed this post. I’m in NC now but my friends in Wales VPN and watch on laptop when they are awake for a game. Use an available ESPN+ account

I could see something going in RDU airport area as a stand alone development. But I feel trying to stay close to downtown Raleigh is what the play is here. I mean we get what 16-18K people for canes games. The average baseball attendance was 26K last year. Which is nearly 20K lower than the average MLB stadium’s capacity.
Baseball has a huge problem apparently but I don’t think Dundon would be trying if he didn’t see an actual outlet. Either way it definitely needs to be on the west side of Raleigh.
So much development happening East of GSO with all the factories popping up around Liberty, Burlington etc…..the whole I40 between RDU and GSO is going to be developed in next 10 years. Huge population growth in that corridor.

Putrid. Time for a run

I really want to get my mother in law to watch the kids so I can get my wife to Raleigh for the first time, so I'm absolutely down to a do a huddle tailgate if we can nail down some dates.
Awesome. We can look at schedule and plan ahead

I just don’t see that in near future. Wad has completely fuged us with his lack of priority on goalie in my opinion. We have a golden window and it’s criminal to ignore this glaring need every year
