    Voth is as good at it gets and I don't doubt that he has legit sources, but unless his source is Gettleman himself we can't possibly know this for sure. In the past JR had a lot of influence over decisions like this, but the cutting of Smitty signaled a new era.

    So that's a 6 game sample, go look at our overall W/L record when Cam throws at leat one pick. Kearse and Baldwin are vastly underrated, then you throw in Lynch and the much better protection Wilson benefits from and there is no comparison. We both know our team would never survive a 4 pick playoff game.

    You missed his point... how many times would we win when Cam throw 4 picks? The answer is we usually lose when he throws one, that how small his margin of error is while being asked to supply 80% of our offense in both the pass and run game.

    I can see him staying away from the team BECAUSE he loves football and his team. It's hard to be around the guys, hear the weights clanging and watch the guys gear up for practice each day while you pack up and head home knowing you can't be a part of it.

    I could easily imagine a 6 game suspension for Hardy, which would significantly impact his value.

    I think it's pretty safe to assume the Panthers are under instructions from the league to say nothing about Hardy until the league gives them the green light, this is a league matter.

    The only real difference is we saw video of Rice punching his wife and this somehow made what Hardy was accused of doing worse.

    Playing it safe... right? If we ever had a player with enough talent to take a chance on, it's Hardy. I feel like we're going to let him walk for PR reasons and that kills me. Give him a one year deal with a club option 2nd year and let him prove he's learned from this.
