Tepper changed his mind on a dome after COVID (for obvious reasons). There has been talk about something like Miami did (not fully enclosed but would protect fans from the elements).

Getting Crunch Time for the Panthers and Brian Burns
CatMan72 replied to 45catfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Non-exclusive tag, let him entertain offers from other teams to set the market and then we match or get two 1st round picks in exchange. -
It was really good pizza and Dan is a class act

Some positive and critical thoughts on yesterdays game

Agree with OP 100% hated to lose but felt good about what I saw from Bryce and our pass rush. -
BBQ nachos are pretty good at the old JJR’s stand

Panthers have one of NFL's most 'obsessive' fanbases
CatMan72 replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
Championships have nothing to do with attendance or passion of the fans. If it did, the Bills would have multiple Lombardi trophies. It's not a Canes vs. Panthers thing, I only mentioned Canes because they were brought up as evidence of Raleigh having more passionate fans. I personally have nothing against the Canes or Raleigh, but the idea that it's better market for the NFL than Charlotte is laughable. -

Canes can't even get people in Raleigh to show up unless they're winning. Between 2015-2018 avg. attendance was only 67% of capacity. -

Using Canes attendance to suggest Panthers attendance would be better in Raleigh is an absurd take. -

Also… Average ticket price for a Canes game is $60 with a seating capacity of 18k Average ticket price for a Panthers game is $239 with a seating capacity of 70k So using turnout at a Canes game as evidence of more dedicated fans is absurd. -

I attended every home game during the 2015 season and it was nowhere close to 60/40 opposing fans. it has everything to do with winning/losing. Show me how well attended a Canes game is after 5 consecutive losing seasons. From a simple demographics standpoint Charlotte had almost 2x the population and a higher median household income, move would never happen. But there’s nothing stopping all the dedicated fans in Raleigh from making the 2 hour trip to Charlotte and joining the fun. -
The Panthers will 100% trade up and draft a QB
CatMan72 replied to GOAT's topic in Carolina Panthers
Bears desperately need a pass rush, take Will Anderson. Texans take Bryce Young. We trade up to 3 and take Stroud. -
Could be an even better fit at 3-4 OLB based on his size/speed combo. Barno is another exciting prospect at 3-4 OLB. We are going to have to beef up at iLB for this scheme so they can take on iOL and stack/shed blocks. Chinn actually has the frame (6’3” 220lbs) to make that conversion, just needs to add 15-20 lbs like TD did.

I’m really warming up to AR, his weaknesses are all coachable while his strengths can’t be taught.

Time to bust out paper bags on heads at the Thursday Night game?
CatMan72 replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
If you feel the need to wear a bag over your head why even bother showing up? -
Jones: Tepper now looking for "a young offensive mind"
CatMan72 replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Exactly this. Best way to keep a good OC is make him HC. That’s how things are done now with all the rules favoring offense. -
