Give me Jacoby Brissett over Andy Dalton. That, and it wouldn't surprise me if Dalton's Panthers experience makes him retire rather than play another down.

Diontae was a one year rental that would've been kept only if we made a notable turnaround this year. We haven't. Temperament speculation aside, he's been banged up quite a bit already this season, another issue he had with the Steelers. Of course you try to get something for him now, even if it's just moving up on the draft board.

With our defense, we'll make Daniel Jones look like the next coming of Phill Simms.

Daniel Dimes chump change.

Oh, I get that part. It's how one could physically not get that left foot down when you're falling like that.

I'm still trying to wrap my head on how that didn't end up as a touchdown.

There's more flags on the field than in the crowd.

I honestly don't know at this point. There's far too many issues and if Tepper is smart enough, he gives Canales a chance to bring in his own QBs. Bryce and Dalton are not fits for what he seems to want. Also, what isn't really being brought up is how our godawful defense is a detriment to getting our own offense ready for gameday. Part of me feels the O as a whole gets constantly overwhelmed on gameday because they are all but unchallenged when practicing against our own guys during the week. Wouldn’t surprise me if Canales goes with something that seemed to work in practice and have it fail on Sunday because our own D makes everything look like it will work.

Are the 49ers really going to choke this game away?

OMGGGGG HAIL MARY FTW!

Ooof. Bears fumbled the exchange at the goalline.

It will probably go downhill from here, but I appreciate the few minutes we didn't look awful.

Personally, a QB's accuracy of one of the few things that isn't really correctable once in the pros. That's why I'm very leery of guys like AR with questionable accuracy in college.

I thought I was seeing things but...

Eagles D which I'd say is worse. He's leaning on Gesicki.

Burrow finds a way to convert a 3rd and 22nd.

Call the Denver PD because there will be crimes commited at Mile High Stadium today.

I still remember Darnold being annoited around here after the fourth game or so. By the final game he played here, many people around here wanted him gone. I saw him as a stopgap while we should've accumulated additional talent. Instead, we dumped most of our assets - including Darnold - to draft a QB and figured that was somehow going to work. In retrospect, very much a Jets type of move. Darnold's definitely in a better position to succeed with the Vikings but I expect him to either falter when things get harder and/or get hurt because I found him to be injury prone. Like when he went on IR for his ankle in pre-season or when he concussed himself against the Falcons.

This shouldn't even be a discussion. Luke was all but universally praised by his peers and pundits as an absolute cerebral menace that could both blow up run plays and pick off passes. He set the bar for linebackers high enough that I dare say no one since then has been able to match.

Oh, yeah. In the game no one watched, Cardinals won at the end with a field goal. Harbaugh Chargers not looking good when two of their wins were against us and the one team we ourselves beat.

And their reward is Godwin likely seriously injured.

Need a sadder Mayfield picture. I got one...

Panthers Baker just said hello.

Oh, the other game's on ESPN+. Screw that.

Russ's best skill is somehow making every receiver's catch stat go to 99.
